A couple of billion in contra revenue to achieve this is NOTHING in the bigger scheme of things.
Actually Intel has won. Tablets are a commodity and smartphones are fast becoming one. Good luck to Qualcomm and Mediatek. Only Apple is making $$ in this field.
Mobile now is wearables and IoT.

If it is bad and will fall by itself, why all the hate and venom toward obamacare. Go eat your cereal before you come on this board to discuss stuff with the big boyz.
of mankind. With Hannity and O'Reilly the frothing at the mouth devils of evil. Must be hell at Faux News HQ.
Obamacare is a huge success. That's why the Satanic Faux News and the GOP want to take it down. If it were a disaster it will fall by itself.
Yes a lot has changed. 2 years have passed and the next Prez election cycle is around the corner. If you think the GOP is going to shut down the Govt again, you are nuts.
Anyone? I believe Faux News is more evil than even the terrorists.
Congress tried the power of the purse for the past 2 years. They even shutdown the Govt and the GOP got egg on their face for it. Power of the purse yeah right.
is at $19 on its way to $12 for sure.
Pls don't let the teabaggers know that Obamacare will never be repealed as long as Obama is Prez. Let them bask in their own ignorance.
From the same article.
"Year-over-year both AMD and Nvidia’s overall PC shipments decreased, with AMD experiencing a 24% fall and Nvidia a shrinkage of 4%. Intel increased its PC shipments by 19%. Discrete GPU shipments increased 6.6% compared to the last quarter, and decreased 7.7% from last year"
Nvidia is stuffing the channel for sure.
Nvidia and AMD will decrease further this Q, as Haswell reaches its peak. And then there is Broadwell with even better graphics coming next year.
Intel now has 71% marketshare in graphics. Nvidia 14% and AMD 14%. Looks like Nvidia and AMD are heading even lower in marketshare.
