the greatest thing, and that Nvidia would rule the smartphone world.
Gawd what an idiot.
so much nonsense. Must be the fact that AMD is making a comeback in graphics is what has got him all frazzled.
It will still be cheaper than Nvidia's $399 discrete graphics.
It keeps AMD going for a couple more years and this entertainment thread with it.
Nvidia has a business in discrete graphics. AMD can be a business in discrete graphics because they have better cards for Windows 10. End of story.
In 6 months to a year, AMD will spin off their graphics business and that will that.
Its a good move, because AMD can focus on discrete graphics and gaming, and dump the CPU garbage they are doing.
Intel taking even more discrete marketshare and AMD using Windows 10 to kick Nvidia's Essa.
The outlook is bleak, and getting bleaker by the day.. What are the postives for this company anyways.. GRID? maybe CARS? Hellooooo....
in their drivers to slow down graphics so that people will upgrade to their more expensive cards.
Intel's decision not to sell ARM was the right one. Because ARM chip makers made very little $$ on ARM (Compared to X86) over the last 5 years and are now running into losses. Popularizing ARM would have diminished X86 value over time and that would have more than killed whatever ARM profits Intel made and more.
ARM architecture is hobbled when it comes to performance and if you increase the performance of ARM it would be the same as x86.
But to try and convince you and other ARM fanatics is just a waste of time.
Whereas a 2 year old R290X, $200 card kicks Nvidia right up their Essa.
Collette better get some magic tricks out to fudge the numbers.
Nvidia has to copy AMD if they have any hope. Right now, the future looks bleak for this POS.
is using its marketing HYPE to say there are no DX12 games yet. But if you buy an Nvidia card today, it won't run DX12 in 6 months. But if you buy an AMD card, you are guaranteed it will do well with DX12.
AMD needs to use SOME marketing to tell the gamers this fact. They just keep quiet about it and everyone assumes they can still buy Nvidia cards, because DX12 games are 6 months away.
In a horizontal industry, proprietary stuff fails if you charge licencing fees for it. Microsoft, Apple, Intel, Sony and everyone else will dump Nvidia and go with the free stuff, making it the industry standard.
Nvidia is doomed with DX12.
performance with DX12. Good luck with Nvidia selling discrete graphics when this becomes obvious to gamers.
make up for it, with AMD coming on strong with Windows 10 and DX12.
This POS is clearly headed to $12.
Nvidia will soon trade at Micron's P/E.
