Won't kick in a stop loss, because of my greed and sometime soon I'll sell it at 58-cents for a net loss of $450.
Every Thanksgiving & Christmas I have an investment story like this.
Heck with it, I'm bailing now! If it goes back above $45 so be it... Yet, I'm hitting the exits now and not looking back.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Placed a $5,300 bet on a stock that all I looked at was they had something like $23-million cash and only $8-million debt. THAT WAS IT!
Monday(during the day) I had a net gain of $375,000! It's only $195k now.
So I'm scared on what to do... Should I place a stop limit of $15 and let it ride?
Anyways, don't be mad or jealous... I have been losing my (you know what) for YEARS!
I just only got lucky here! Yet, I wanna come out ahead... it's like the greatest feeling in the world and then an hour later sick to my stomach I didn't act on the spike.
Funds and Insiders are buying good chunks at these levels.
What a dream is this could go back to just the IPO level.
Possible acquisition target, I don't rightly know, yet I give FRPT a big thumbs up LIKE!
Spooked on what to do.
Truth is stores are actually closing down. They've talked about 2500 units in the future since day 1. Don't get me wrong, I want NDLS to go to $100, but the truth is the worst time to jump in is during the winter. Most of their restaurants are in Colorado & back east.
If you're thinking of buying NDLS. I'd wait until the smoke & mirros clears and honestly, Barron's only has a 'mildly safe $13 price target".
I'd wait until we see some RESULTS!
Hey Cash! I know you're ready this! FRPT 1-week chart baby! I told you the CC stated insiders were buying. Hope you took advantage. I also know you got stung in CMG. Cover your losses... move forward. Oh hey, check the 5-day historical on KBIO! I'm rich, I lost everything, I'm rich!
It's worse than a casino out here.
I think that place is located where I live! :(
Oooooh you know, trust me. There's no mistaking it.
It lasted about 2 1/2 days.
I went camping on a 3-day weekend in late spring. Brought along some Reeser's potato salad I had in the cooler. Never did open it up, so when I got home I emptied the cold melted ice-water from the cooler and placed the tub in the fridge. After a day or so I cracked the seal and had some for a late dinner. Woke up with a mild tummy ache. Went to work and then it hit me---bathroom break after bathroom break and like a pregnant woman that has her water break. I couldn't keep any liquids (or solids) in my body. I hydrated constantly and it would immediately hit me to head to the water closet. Continuous for the next 2-days and stomach cramps like I've never felt before. I'm sure it was Salmonella.
I figured later that the tub, although covered in ice, the top portion of the tub was exposed to heat during the weekend. Point is, If you ever get it---you definitely know!
Have the family use a different bathroom until it's sanitized.
All our best.
I just read an article from Fortune that stated this illness is set to hit TEN MILLION American's.
Search the article... not making this up.
& read the article.
This could be a Bear Trap--- So, I'm taking no position in CMG as of yet.
see how all this hashes out.
I just wondered what the sentiment was out there. There's none here locally, but I'd not try it if there was.
At least not right away.
Do any of you still go?
Pulling out of California, Texas and Washington D.C., this can't be a positive move for investors in this "growth stock".
Remember the days when the Market Cap was over $1-billion!? I owned this ol' girl back then. :(

Article out Tuesday.
Not looking good here, closing the stores that actually have nice year round weather.
What's crazy is the fact no executive is getting disciplined.
Maybe the Gift Card promotion will be our saving grace. :-/
They're here to make money just like anyone else.. at some point they cover and go long in the company. They don't usually short a company without potential.
Also stock bashers have been known to bash a stock price down for a takeover bid even if it helps a couple percent could mean several million for the acquiring company.
This is an exciting time in FRPT in my humble opinion. They have $19m cash--zero debt, heading into the profitable 4th qtr. It's possible by March we'll all be kicking our #$%$ that we didn't put the mortgage on this company today.
Nobody knows what the actually bottom of this stock is, but it's got to be close under $6 I would think. No real signs the company is in financial trouble. It's just not the next Google.
I think it's a buy! My thoughts. Got me some shares of FRPT too! :) Yet, I'm not looking to sell at $7 or $8 if it reaches that. I'm going to ride this out.
