If NDLS closes up today. It'll be the 14th consecutive trading day it's went up. You don't see that often.. no matter what equity you own.
Has to be.
6-days away from draft day!
Who's a huge Colts fan here?
Domino's 14.5% SSS(Same Store Sales) is astronomical!
Uber is now into the pizza delivery. In the future it's possible driver-less electric cars and/or drones will deliver pies to your door. I know it sounds outlandish today, maybe 2018 this will be a mainstay.
Pizza delivery apps are like Snap Chat with the younger generation. It's a hot new trend. I would not buy, not buy a pizza stock in the 90's, but today... it's a different generation.
I personally love the 3rd largest.... Papa John's, yet, the whole category looks good to me. Your parents or grand parents didn't order tons of pizzas. They made them from scratch or went out occasionally or bought store made ones and added their own toppings. The newer, faster and perhaps lazier generation is not molded like this.
I firmly believe PZZA will be a triple-digit stock in less than 18-months.
I got skin on it... pizza is not talked about a lot. You hear about McDonald's or Chipotle...yet, rarely pizza...and it's the most loved food across the globe.
Remember as a kid when you'd play... What's the one food you'd have if you were stranded on a desert island... Pizza always came up! Always!
I'm long PZZA and wish I had cashola to buy a few more. Cashback7, is correct... fast pizza is not as great as that local favorite pizza joint that hand tosses their pies... however, 14.5% SSS can't be denied!
If Noodles had 14.5% comps.... Oh my goodness! Stock would rocket!
Let's debate... pro/con... am I fos on this philosophy? You tell me...
Cash, you honestly don't believe that NDLS will trade in single-digits do you? I mean you can't..
Algorithms! That's engineering talk... that is exactly what keeps my UPS flat! Soon as they rolled that out... Orion
Stock up 4% today. Good time to buy every PUT in sight. Only 5% of the float shorted. You could get a real frenzied new position going on over there at Papa John's.
$215,000 of debt on the books. Only 27% of the insiders own it.
Can't recall a time in Noodles brief history this has ever happened.
Congratulations NDLS Longs!
CEO Patrick Doyle said the jump in sales was partly the result of an improving job market.
"Employed people buy more pizza than unemployed people," he said during a conference call.
My plan is if it doesn't pan out, i'll move back in with my parents. :-)
sky-rocket! anyways, off to walk the pooch! :-)!
NFL schedule in 7 1/2 hours! YAY!
and then selling close to the close on the 5th. I know it could shy-roocket or plumment in the AH, yet this strategy will no doubt pocket me 5%+ in 24 hours.
What do you think?
They were slated to report end of April-May 4th, I believe.
It's anybody's guess. I do know on earnings day or May 5th the stock will rise good. It always does on short-covering. Every intra-day earnings day the shorts panic. So without a doubt, it's at least a buy on the 4th. What happens the 6th...who knows... history is not on the long side 6th,7th or 8th. Yet, May 4th for sure!
Good Luck! :-)

Not much of a fine tho'.
Loco was more value than anything. Plus, a darn fine concept.
Yet, following Papa John & Junior for sometime. I feel real good about it. Maybe it goes to $60 again? I don't care... it won't matter as long as I sell some day higher.
I'm using the AAPL,AMZN,GOOG,NFLX,SBUX,YELP trading philosophy on it.
#1. Buy a good brand with strong balance sheet & growth
#2. Buy loyalty... a CEO that owns the majority & pays $250,000 for a Camaro he sold to finance his investment.
#3. Be innovative, That Pay Share and Digital/Online coupon sweep will put some worry to #2 Dominos.
#4. Make an excellent product that people will enjoy and talk about.
I like it, I like it BIG TIME!
You were correct on Papa Murphy's... I never had any position at all in that one, but it did more than double in time when we were jawing about it.
Place PZZA on your radar screen, don't forget LOCO!
Plus, the huge spike in oil lately also isn't positive either.
I do know they expanded very, very lightly to boost earnings this quarter in my opinion, yet Wall Street will sniff that right out of the 10-Q.
I'm not so sure we're not in for another double-digit slide after earnings like we had last quarter.
I could be wrong, but we do know for a fact those patios back east weren't packed with 3' of snow outside.
