but short term, I see prices firming up towards end of the day, maybe close over $130, action is going to be on Monday in anticipation of earnings and Tuesday of next week. Remember it is up over $3 for the week so if you think long term and try not to time the market, you will do just fine.
Looking back 1 year from today, we are up appx. 70% , going back another year we are up 30%, going back another year we can see that Apple came down due to the fact that Cook took over from Jobs and the market was wary of what the future might be for Apple and discounted the stock. Now with Cook doing a great job, market confidence is building with products selling well. The economy is picking up around the world and Apple is well positioned to take advantage. I can't expect another 70% gain but certainly a 30% to 50% gain would not be out of the question and lets hope they announce a divvy hike at the next earning report. Stay long and strong.
yes all the Apple stores in China have lines snaking out the door I hear.
Apple has got be darn proud of their Iwatch if they are going to sell gold watches, think about it, people are not going to buy something made out of gold unless it is of the highest quality (jewelry-like)
seems to happen all the time, with new products coming out and earnings coming soon, it tends to ramp up in price, my guess $135 to $140 by earnings.jmho
You will have a great stock for the long term and for the short term a huge divvy, so either way you can't lose to hold.
How can anybody possibly come up with a price of what it is worth at this point? The deal is far too complicated to calculate at this point.? The facts are it will pay out a special divvy of $16.50 and Warren Buffet likes it and it will be the third largest food co. in North America and what the about the cost savings of combining 2 companies and the synergies.
#1 Earnings, the iphone sales in China will help increase earnings this year to $10 pps. #2 Now a Dow 30 stock, expect dividend increases as it appeals to a more conservative crowd. #3 It is bringing out new products which will create new revenue streams so one day will not be so dependent on phone sales. #4 Deep pockets help pay for research and development and acquisitions. #5 Brand name and reputation, the apple logo has the cachet, something other companies can't buy.
No one here has mentioned water damage to wood flooring. What happens when sitting water seeps into the seams of flooring is that the floor buckles and the seams open or cup up allowing the water to penetrate the laminate portion of the flooring thus exposing the inner layers. So yes deconstruction is possible.
We are buying boatloads of imports that eventually end up in the landfills. We can improve our economy creating jobs and making quality products the way we used to.
Don't pay attention to the noise, look at a 2 year chart, up over 100% last 2 years. Don't watch it hourly or even daily think long term. It is a great company with great products people want to buy, priced relatively cheap (17) pe with brand name recognition, let it ride.
after the run-up, still cheap, p e in the 17 range, stock price rising over 50% a year because of earnings, cash on hand close to $200 billion, I mean this is a no-brainer, other A-list companies can't match us.
