I have a G4 on my body right now, and as stated in earlier posts...I love it, way more than my insulin pump too. As a matter of fact, I go back and forth from pump to injections therapy and it does not matter as the Dexcom G4 is what I get the most useful and helpful information to assist with my daily management. Great Product, Management, & #s: GREAT STOCK. Y'all keep up the good work!!!
The new G4 is amazing as was the older model ... the 7plus. It has been a life changing piece of equipment for me, and I am a Type 1 diabetic who has had the disease for 24 years. As the knowledge of Dexcom CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) units spreads to all those who have Type 1 diabetes, or their guardians, and as more and more insurances are fully covering the monthly supplies, I believe the sky is the limit for this now small company. Anyone who says there is stiff competition with other companies obviously does not understand the difference in Type 1 & 2 diabetes, nor do they show any understanding of the fact that the other CGM makers (only 2 of them right now) have poorly functioning equipment that makes the users who try them to discontinue use. However, once you've tried a Dexcom and you see the accuracy and simplicity of the product there is no turning back...I could not live my life now without my unit, as it has drastically reduce the episodes of low blood sugars I have during the day where I am interrupted and have to stop and eat....it has reduced that number from roughly 10-15 times a week to once a week, and that once a week low is not nearly as low a number which makes it easier to jump back into whatever I'm doing at the time....i.e. working, basketball, hanging out with my wife and daughter...etc. I'm long Dexcom, and believe in this company a great deal.
