I did some looking and Focalin XR 15 mg sales per year are approximately 136 million. Annual sales of the 30 mg version are approximately 69 million. IPCI and Par have 180 days exclusivity for the 15 mg version. Other dose versions are only preliminarily approved. I would estimate that Par/IPCI should see 50-100 million in sales in the next year from the 15 and 30 mg versions. I do not know what cut IPCI receives of this. Does anyone have any idea? That being said, I really think these sales will go a long way to covering the IPCI's operational costs- that have been around 2 million each quarter. The last couple quarters IPCI claimed $0 in revenue. I would have to expect, the coming quarters should show some serious increase in revenue. Hopefully enough to at least sustain operations and continue on with everything else in the pipeline.
The share price will move with good news. Could take a while but the potential is there for a lot of good news in the next year. Make your time frame longer and think about how this could turn out to be worth many multiples times your purchase price if they succeed. I am prepared for it to go even lower in short term but will try to wait until it bottoms and I will purchase more. Hang in there everyone!
Yeah don't give up hope. If you are going to trade stocks with potential big rewards, you need to realize there are big risks as well as down days. Handle the pressure and don't watch the price constantly. According to Scott Trade, IPCI has 21.2M shares outstanding. That's not a lot and makes it more suceptible to manipulation. Shorts and traders love to play with stocks with lower amounts of outstanding shares.
I don't know if there will be news releases on this, but something I would like to hear about is how the progress goes on them taking on manufacturing of product. Stuff like setting up facilities, purchasing equipment, hiring employess, etc. Becoming a manufacturer could seriously add to the bottom line.
Sorry... I meant $10.50 and not $9.50.
If it never dropped to below book value, the insiders would never buy or hold any shares. LOL. $9.50 and I am buying a bunch.
I can't put a number on it but will tell you this. If it Rexista works as claimed and they have proper patent/IP protection on it and they are first to market and approve something of this nature. It is worth far more than most of the people who frequent this board can even imagine.
I agree and think they defined their long term plans well. I just hope they execute now. I will be watching. Impatient traders wanted this thing to pop so now they are crying like they have been slighted. Long term investors who can wait this one out will be rewarded but the panic stricken traders are jumping ship now. Not only because of IPCI, but because the whole market has had a few down days and margin calls are coming for some...
Don't know if the additional Rexista Phase 1 results will move price. If they are positive, they will be better than nothing. I really hope they are working hard on the partnerships. I think for them to become a vertically integrated company with full manufacturing is a big jump. Do you think they have any kind of plan in place for implementing this?
I'd love to see it get up into the high $4, but just don't think it will do it without any news.
In my opinion the next time IPCI will move up will be on good news- new approval, new test results, new partner, etc. I think until then it won't do all that much. Just be patient. Phase 1 test results for Rexista are due out this year some time. The way they are touting them, I really think these will be good. If they have one new offering that could solicit a serious partner or buyout interest it is the new anti abuse technology in Rexista.
Interesting thoughts. Let's revisit in a couple hours.
The Motley Fool article at least said that MYGN probably is undeserving of this amount of shorting. The other articles about the lawsuits, etc. certainly had a slant where one would wonder if the originators had some short interest... Like was said before. The lawsuits were not new, just countersuits. Seemed like more scare tactics than anything substantial.
