Let me know if you are getting these
Hang in there Frank!
Just sent you an invite (or tried to, anyway). Let me know if you got it and if you are "on board".
I admit to being woefully unclear on how exactly to get 'invited ' . I think Sr. Falconi and others can help here.
Be patient, we will get you signed in.
My history with AVNR has included many regrets and heartaches although the conclusion has been an extremely satisfying one. Nonetheless, I, as mentioned before, feel an unrequited melancholy now that it is all over and the lights in our little bunker will soon be extinguished for the last time. It was not just the rabbit that we chased that was the object of my desire, after all. Nor was it just the thrill of the chase. It was all these things PLUS befriending my comrades in the chase, it turns our, that made this whole enterprise so wonderful.
Be assured that I will press everyone to rendezvous soon in person. The party will happen and you must be there.
Thank you for your help and my most sincere apologies for making the process sound easier to accomplish than it is in actuality. Please let me know what I can do to help with this (caveat: I am a menace to myself and others when it comes to computers!).
Many of us are planning to keep in touch at the below-referenced web address because we have grown to like each other and want to stay in touch after this Yahoo board gets shut down. You have to request to join but the admission policy is, how do you say, quite liberal. In other words, if you want in- you are in.
See you over there.
HA! The previous "word" from your inside source was that AVNR had "decided" it was going to triple its share price. Give it up, dude, your schtick is lame.
Let me add a humble and grateful "amen" to the chorus of those who rightly praise you for your kind and good offices, lo, these many years.
I realize now that, psychologically speaking, we truly have been in a bunker together, you my determined, dogged, stubborn fellow longs, enduring years of verbal abuse and ridicule and now that we rub our blinking eyes as we walk together in the sunlight, I turn to you all and say: it's been an honor and privilege to travel this journey with you. Please let us determine now to keep in touch and to remember the lessons learned and the memories forged.
To all that will travel to the Party that I am quite determined will take place , I look forward to meeting you in person and laughing and reminiscing and most of all CELEBRATING!
Take care, avnrinvestor, and good luck! Keep in touch so you can join us for our Buy-out Party.
I agree, it will be very strange to not log into the ol' message board after so many years. Very weird, indeed.
Thank you very much for your generous compliments. I must admit I sometimes wondered if pouring so much energy into my posts was a waste of time but , then again, people like you make believe that it was worth it.
I really do want to have an AVNR party and put some faces and handshakes to the names of my message board friends.
btw, yesterday's Bloomberg article about AVNR is worth a careful read.
One would have to believe that the major tutes knew all about the Otsuka deal but were they 100% behind it? Were they satisfied with their huge quick gains at $17 and ready to book it and move on or is this part of a strategy to get a counter? $90mm is a big hickey to have to pay Otsuka if AVNR backs out but if another offer comes in above $25 then I guess $90mm is no that big of a deal.
I very much appreciate your post and will definitely be looking at Concert. Like Razor, I will wait to see if AVNR gets any more bids before selling.
I intend to use most of my AVNR profits to invest in an opportunity that I have outside the stock market. However, I still want to invest in an equity that will allow me to keep in touch with my AVNR friends and make some money, too.
You guys mean a lot to me.
