My take is that the share offering price was based on firm commitments from buyers and based on a discount from the last day of trading before the offering closed. On 9/24, STKL traded 6.19 - 6.88 and closed at 6.23.
6.00 was a discount to the close.
"management is given 1 chance to amend a mistake."
California and now New York; looks like they blew their "chance to amend".
Up over 2400% from year low; is it time to sell?
You lost me with "EASY MONEY"
Given JVA's market cap is $25.5M and IEP's market cap is $8.5B, I do find it "hard...to believe" what you posted. JVA is way too small, IMO, for IEP to be interested.
"I just found information and now I do believe..."
You have information, but you only "believe"?
Have there been any "paid" promoters of vape on this board?
Pro or amateur, at this point, it sure looks like the negative posters nailed this one!
Sub million dollar market cap--YIKES!!!!
Interesting action today, with the general market being rather strong while biotech is very weak.
Are we witnessing some good old sector rotation?
While I'm positive on biotech for the long run, I'm cognizant that valuation ultimately does matter. The biotech run has been nothing short of fantastic and it's easy to turn a blind eye to valuation, until it isn't.
My take away from your post: I know something!
Yup, I have a minor position in STKL; what a disaster.
If only there was a dress rehearsal...
"But, in the end, the towers were constructed and we now have "cell phones"."
I love the sight of towers! I've been long AMT, CCI and AMT for years, although I have sold some shares of all.
"making the argument for the roll up mute"
I try to limit my nitpicking, but incorrectly using the word "mute" for "moot" is one I can't pass up.
"Moops" or "Moors"?
Sorry for the distraction.
I've always had the opinion that LWAY's kefir is TOO SWEET.
It's great that LWAY keeps pumping out various machinations of kefir, but besides a few basic original flavors, their products are absent from the stores I frequent.
And to answer your question, "Ever go to a bar and an employee spills the beans on his company after a few drinks.", from your recently dusted off yahoo name, no, I haven't.
"You now have an anti TM zealot on the board who got another delay."
"Now", as in not before?
Perhaps you are more fluent on the topic than I am, but to me, it looks like Steven Kelly, a new board member, is in FAVOR of TM:
"It comes as a result of a decision by the hearing panel on Aug. 21 to strike evidence in favour of the pipeline prepared by consultant Steven Kelly, who was recently appointed to the NEB."
"I suppose the bottom could be tested again but I think this level finally attracted some strong buying interest."
Yesterday's action attracted me; I added @ 29.30 (nice to see today's close above that level).
I bought the same number of shares as I bought 9/15 @ 30.04. That's it...I know when to say "when".
"...we'll be damn close to flat for the year..."
In other words, are you trying to convey that the biotech sector has outperformed the overall market YTD?
