While a low share price sometimes attracts suitors, I thought the "plan" was for FWM to grow its business and its share price will follow.
Have you abandoned hope and are now looking for a graceful exit?
News: anything that is not fluff!
Why is this company publicly traded? Will VAPE be accessing the equity market for funds?
Why not remain private? If the business prospects are so great, why not develop the business and then IPO?
Of course, being public allows major shareholders to easily sell some of their holdings. Gotta wonder what management's real motivation is.
.388 is the estimate I'm seeing. If WFM matches expectations, it may sell off a bit, but of course, earnings are just stat. Perhaps as meaningful is what management says or doesn't say.
Cool...I presume portfolio managers/fund mangers etc. monitor their holdings by % weight. I crank out a multi page Excel spreadsheet quarterly and I review a variety of metrics. The page I look at most is all of my holdings ranked by % of portfolio as well as by account (taxable, Roth).
At times, I'll lighten up simply because a position has grown too large (and at times, I haven't and the value of that holding became smaller!)
"Even #$%$ forums have excellent posts every now and then."
Yup, that is why, besides the possible entertainment value, I read various boards.
IMO, if one were to post "I just bought some shares and XYZ now represents 8% of my portfolio" is a much more relevant data point.
Darn it! I blinked.
Obviously the spammer won't be reading my reply, but for the naive, a stock that has had multiple zero volume days and others with some volume = scam/pump.
Even if you lose your "face" on this silly speculation, the good news is that most people (and hopefully you as well) convert life's experiences into wisdom. There is no short cut to gaining wisdom. Wisdom would have not have allowed you to "invest" in this (fill in the blank) company.
P.S. Just wait for the news; not sure if you will like it.
