"...when the nut pricing comes into line, they'll have a much healthier profit margin all around."
Yes, from what I can tell, the snack division has been improving.
As far as nut pricing coming "into line", I expect that to be in a few YEARS! given the demand of nuts and the lack of water to grow them.
IF DMND could jettison the nuts....
DMND may be on 5 yard line, but IMO, they are still playing in the first half!
"Wall Street owes billions to the people in TRC's area for 3 decades of
stock-manipulation that severely #$%$ their economic development.
Many might become TRC-holders if its price & policies were rational."
I'm not clear how the above relates to your prior post suggesting TRC invest in equities.
My bad, I thought Castac Lake was a fresh water, non saline, lake.
From what I have read, potable water availability is not a concern.
I wonder what "the chart" said when vape was trading at 35+.
Technical analysis on a penny stock...does that work?
Haven't you posted "fiduciary duty" before? I imagine you are an expert in this area and that is why I found this post particularly ODD!
"...they just hired a new CEO who by the way, is also a principal owner of a private investment company that buys out failing private companies."
From the PR:
"In addition to co-founding and serving as Chief Operating Officer of Fresh Fields and as CEO of Earth Fare, Mr. Murphy was an Operating Partner at McCown Deleeuw & Co., the private equity firm that owned the 24 Hour Fitness chain; and a Vice President of Operations at Purity Supreme Supermarkets."
Murphy WAS an Operating Partner at McCown et al. What is the name of the private investment company he is currently "a principal owner"?
That said, seems like a good hire.
Who would pay $5, or anything close to that figure, if the shares will be a buck?
Of course, I'm assuming that any firm considering a buy would most likely come to the same conclusion as you theorize Sterling has/will!
epholder, perhaps my response was a tad too concise, but since I was pretty sure anmlrescue was reading this board a few weeks ago when this topic was discussed, I simply stated what many others believe to be the answer to why there are so many KMI shares short relative to how many were short prior to the announcement.
Given KMP holders will receive 2.1931 KMI shares and KMR holders will receive 2.4849 KMI shares (and EPB holders will get .9451 KMI shares) I imagine there have been a lot of buys of the MLPs and simultaneous sells of multiple KMI shares per each KMR & KMP share buy.
Hence, my reply ("Presumably the arb play.") to "Why is there so much short interest?"
I do not believe Kalettes have been offered at my local WFMs; just a matter of time?
"Kalettes are a brand new vegetable that are a fresh fusion of sweet and nutty. Not only do they have great flavor but Kalettes are also incredibly versatile and can be cooked in a variety of ways; in fact, Kalettes may well be one of the most versatile vegetables out there! Kalettes can be sautéed, roasted, grilled or eaten raw.
Kalettes are the product of 15 years of hard work and dedication (using traditional breeding techniques) from the British vegetable seed house Tozer Seeds. Kalettes are a non-GMO vegetable developed through traditional hybridization and not genetic modification. Known as Flower Sprouts in the U.K., this delicious vegetable has now made its way across the pond and is called Kalettes in North America."
While in season (and a bit more afterwards), I eat an apple a day (hey! maybe I can come up with a saying about this).
Last week, for my variety of choice, Stop & Shop and Shaws price: 1.29/lb, whereas WFM was .99/lb (on "sale" regularly 1.49).
Have a wonderful day!
That would be Jeffries. 36.00 was last reiterated 8/7, after the target was raised by a buck on 8/6 (yes, the day before). Previous Jeffries' targets were 34.0 from 10/10/13 - 8/5/14 and 38.00 from 9/4/13 - 10/09/13.
A/O earlier today, av 12 month target for KMI: 44.55
(above from Bloomberg)
Maybe barneyoldfieldscigar's theory about HAIN "driving this down so that they could buy it out!" (see 8/5 post) has some merit! (I am being facetious)
