Estimate is July 16 per Yahoo Finance and Bloomberg terminal; Bloomberg shows div est of .43
Perhaps the data was not there yesterday, but if you look at the KMI Yahoo quote, you will see "Next Earnings Date: 16-Jul-14", above the headlines.
OBVIOUSLY there is nothing positive to discuss about VAPE, so why not write about how VAPE is "better" than FB.
(file under: it sure is fun to post)
P.S. today's trade so far:
Now I'm confused. Besides reporting tomorrow, AVAV will announce that it is being privatized? And yet, just a couple weeks or so ago, you wrote that AVAV would be bought by LMT.
It sure is fun to post!
The article mentioned O.penVape, a Denver based company.
TWO clues that demonstrate you screwed up can be found in the headline: "O.pen Vape's Steve Berg: Transparency & Federal Illegality Help Budding Marijuana Industry Succeed"
1. Name of company
2 Steve Berg is the CFO of O.penVape. Who is the CFO of Vape Holdings, Inc.??
That would be twenty-eight year old Allen Viernes LOL.
Holy Cow!!! There is more than one vaporizer company??!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Sterling buys and sells companies"
That is correct.
In true form, Sterling bought over 80% of Fairway in 2007.
Now they own about 28%.
Sterling did very well with the first half of the story and thankfully for them, they SOLD a majority of their FWM stake...so yes, "Sterling buys and sells companies".
IMO, don't just look at current div yields, but the rate of annual increases as well.
Besides other issues, I own the following in my ROTH (and a few in my cash AC as well); current div yield after symbol
CL 2.10% Div payment doubled in 6 - 7 years
CVX 3.20% Div payment doubled in 7 - 8 years
JNJ 2.70% Div payment doubled in 7 - 8 years
KMI 4.70% Div payment doubled in less than three years
TROW 2.10% Div payment doubled in 6 - 7 years
Above assumes dividends taken in cash (not reinvested)
Why no funds? Vanguard has some very nice and extremely low fee funds.
I've tracked my returns vs various benchmarks for over twenty years. Some years I did better than the benchmarks and some I have underperformed. The variance is not that great and that is why I will be investing most of my new funds into VTSAX. Some may go to another fund I have been long for a 2+ decades: HAINX.
The only "problem" with VTSAX is that is is yielding approx. 1.75%.
VTSAX is very tax efficient to boot. For income investors, this may not be the "best" choice. For younger investors, I tell them to put a major chunk into VTI or VTSAX and reinvest the distributions.
From the article:
"VAPE headline under GWPH this weekend. O' Pen's VAPE - Looks good."
"Steve Berg is CFO of O.pen Vape, (located in Denver, CO), one of the largest brands in the legal cannabis industry."
Riddle me this: WHO is Vape Holding's, Inc., (located in Woodland Hills, CA) CFO?
That would be twenty-eight year old(!!!) Allen Viernes AND NOT Steve Berg!
You see, you mixed up TWO different companies!!!
O.pen Vape is "one of the largest brands in the legal cannabis industry", while Vape Holdings, Inc. (VAPE) is what?????
A friend of mine submitted two forms from two six packs; one for him and one for his wife.
He received zero shares, but his wife was allotted some shares; she is still holding.
Wow! The 365 brand root beer has one more gram of sugar than Virgil's Root Beer..STOP THE PRESS!!
I am awaiting your next informative post; thanks for sharing such relevant information.
"you deal with transportation costs hitting you big time- until which time they can get a big warehouse place in support of their new locations."
Does SFM self distribute???
"Were they borne yesterday and cant read the newspaper on the new gold rush."
No, I'm pretty sure "they" can read; not only words, but FINANCIAL STATEMENTS as well; I can't say the same re the retail "investor" crowd.
Wisdom comes as the result of many experiences; hopefully this experience will yield some wisdom to those who lack it.
"This company could be big very soon."
"could" being the operative word.
"The market knows it and drove it yo 40 dollars."
No naive retail "investors" drove the share price to 40 bucks and THEN WHAT HAPPENED? Why the HUGE drop???
