  • What will BABA do with all the CASH? I think a bunch of Acquisitions, strengthen their world dominant position in all China internet activity. Saw this article speculating about Yahoo:

    http://www.insidermonkey.com/blog/could-yahoo-inc-yhoo-be-scooped-up-by-alibaba-group-holding-ltd-baba-for-literally-nothing-329311/

doubt that will happen, but an acquisition of QIHU for $10 to $20 billion, which was already in discussions back in January 2014:

maybe SINA, SOHU, DANG, etc.; BIDU is a little too big to take over. BABAs Jack Ma personal agenda is to increase China Dominance, and he just got buckets of cash to do it with. What do you think?

I do think BABA is going to cause a great deal of movement. Also, volume flushes with a large dump of stock, causes a chain reaction of Stop Loss Executions that make for bust out volume and more dip. Big players do this to flush out AUTO orders, drop the price way low, and then accumulate their shares back at a decreased price. Most likely will have big buying volumes all day at these low prices. Hard to know how hard the knife will cut when big boys start playing like this.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Yeh, and now you see what I was talking about in action. PPS up almost a dollar, but will not make it ti $88; got beat up too much. The market is a war zone and the big boys have all the power. We little self-investors have to just keep a safe position and hold out through these unexplained volume raids.

Comment excerpts: FB has structurally higher margins because of its mobile orientation and highly efficient operations. We see FAN, Instagram, auto-play video ads, and China as incremental opportunities. Facebook continues to have a solid pipeline of new products and under-monetized assets that could continue to offer upside to the model in the near to medium-term. Morning changes to price target:

    Wells Fargo $87 was $78
    Evercore Partners $90 was $75
    Janney Capital $82.50 was $71
    Baird $82 was $71
    Piper Jaffray $90 was $76

  • Current FB stock price reflects ONLY advertising income. Yet to be priced in is the retail impact of the "BUY" button and BOOKMARK options announced this last week. FB eCommerce Potential is staggering with 1.3 Billion Monthly Active Users. PayPal 150Mil users is $1.9B per Qtr of Revenue. AMZN has 244 million active accounts (matches an 18% FB MAU participation) and AMZN Qtrly revenue was $19.7B.

FB Q2 revenue projection for tonight is $2.8 Billion.

  • PayPal has 150 million users with recent Q2 revenue of $1.9B. Only 12% of FB MAU would generate $1.9B in added revenue to the current FB Qtr Revenue of $2.8B

  • FB opened new "Hyper-Growth Revenue" These features seamlessly morph FB into the cannibalization of eCommerce from EBay, Amazon, PayPal, Groupon, Overstock, YELP, OpenTable (Restaurant Reservations), Google Wallet, YELP, Pinterest.
