    Hmmmm! expected

    by kevin_launius 6 hours ago

You know trading is RIGGED! NFLX missed on top and bottom line ...stock goes up $100 within 3 days. Wall Street crooks focus on 4.9 mil subscriber growth as justification for higher share price. AMZN says its AWS is a profitable segment but overall company lost money...wall street crooks respond by sending shares $50+ higher. TSLA goes up on nothing but tweets and bogus analyst opinions. GOOG missed on to and bottom..stock shoots up $40... AAPL blows away estimates top and bottom, sells 61 mil iPhones at avg sell price of $649 ...increase dividend, increase buyback intro a new hot product...and Wall Street yawns.. Up $1.35. LOL. You can't make this stuff up. If you don't believe Wall Street is broken and rigged by the big boys all you have to do is watch the trading in these stocks.

    Sentiment: Hold

  • Good Move ! Don't trust the wall street crooks to treat AAPL right, no matter what they report. The wall street crooks they will find a negative to trumpet over and over.

    Sentiment: Hold

  • TSLA (and all the MoMo's ) will continue to fly only if the market does not collapse ! All the longs think all is well with the company because the stock is continually going up. That should actually be a red flag. This company's fundamentals and actual product revenue/earnings prospects do not fit it's current valuation. If it wasn't for the constant trading manipulation going on causing short squeeze after short squeeze, this company would still be trading under $50 (if that). We have a no profit EV manufacturer (TSLA), a no profit internet retailer (AMZN) , a burrito maker (CMG), a b2b facebook emulator (LNKD) all trading on nothing but tweets and analyst opinions vice true earnings prospects

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Yes. up $55 on nothing that will contribute to the top or bottom line for years !! TSLA is just part of the MoMo bubble along with AMZN, NFLX, CMG, GOOD, LNKD, PCLN etc. Everytime an analyst mentions the "new" storage product, stock jumps again. When the wheels fall off of this manipulated market, its going to be real ugly!

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Why do you like the stock long term? Do you think EV's will actually become mass market (prices similar to gas powered vehicles)?

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • How many of you can't wait to get a TSLA home energy storage battery system? LOL
Just love this line from the bogus analyst note this morning..."The bull case would be that this business could potentially add $5 to our 2020 EPS estimate of $20. At a 20x P/E, this would equate to $100 per share". 2020?? Really?? LOL
Will TSLA even be around in the same form in 2020? That's the question. When this MoMo house of cards start to crumble, look out below.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

This stock and all the hedge fund favorite stocks (AMZN, TSLA, GOOG, PCLN, LNKD etc) are totally controlled and manipulated around weekly options. The SEC is powerless to stop the crooks apparently because its been going on for some time now...even before AAPL was a part of the Dow. Trading in this market is Rigged and the SEC does not have the ability to police these crooks in a timely fashion. Look how long it took to blame/charge someone for the flash crash 5 years ago ! LOL.

How do you beat on sales and miss on profit?

Profits don't matter with the rigged trading going on in these MoMo names like AMZN, TSLA, LNKD, GOOG NFLX etc.. The stock moves are based on pure share float control, short interest, tweets, bogus analyst opinions and weekly option manipulation. Stocks up 85% of the time on nothing at all time highs and most have no consistent profits. How do you even rationally attempt to explain it.... NFLX misses on top and bottom line but stock rockets up $100, GOOG misses stock up, AMZN revs increase but still no profit, stock up $50, FB beats, but stock can't gain anything...... and watch what they do to AAPL even if it reports the most profitable quarter ever. These crooks have been manipulating these MoMo stocks up on nothing but hype / hope and anything but true company investment related metrics for sometime now. Until the market crashes, they will continue to send these stocks up to unsustainable highs... because GREED rules on the street and the SEC or other financial regulators will not step in to curb their abusive manipulating trading practices.

Now just watch how wall street crooks extrapolate wild revenue projections (aka pull a major number from their #$%$ from this " me to" PriceLine moment. Note how PCLN's stock didn't even flinch on the announcement. LOL. Funny thing is Bezos and AMZN management will never state exactly how much revenues or profits they actually get from this "travel" segment.

This is just sad... Shows you just how fragile our market trading system is. The regulators do not have a clue on how to prevent or quickly understand what these crooks are doing to manipulate the market !
More from the CNBC article...."Now here we are five years after the report and finally someone's recognizing it was a spoofer," said Sal Arnuk, partner and co-founder of Themis Trading.
He called it "shocking and scary" that it took authorities five years to charge anyone for the flash crash.
The complaint said that Sarao engaged in discussions with the CME about his trading activities, and suggested in a 210 email that he had "just called" the exchange "and told em to kiss my [a--]."

The CFTC's Goelman alleged that Sarao is believed to have engaged in market manipulation or spoofing on about 400 days between 2010 and 2014, and continued doing so as recently as this year."

There are many more crooks that need to be bought to justice! This one guy is not the only one manipulating futures / stocks etc. Just watching the trading in AAPL, NFLX, LNKD, AMZN, GOOG and the other MoMo's should provide the authorities with a good list of "manipulators".

    Sentiment: Hold

  • A futures trader was arrested in Britain on Tuesday over allegations that his manipulation of trades helped prompt the May 2010 “flash crash,” when the Dow Jones industrial average plummeted 600 points and unnerved many investors, even though stocks quickly recovered their losses.

According to the complaint, which was unsealed on Tuesday, Mr. Sarao is accused of using an automated trading program to manipulate the market for E-Mini S&P 500 futures contracts on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. E-Minis are stock market index futures contracts based on the Standard & Poor’s 500-stock index.

5 Years later ... LOL And the crooks like Mr. Sarao still using bot / HFT etc to manipulate every financial instrument they have the means to manipulate! So nothing really has changed.

Yesterday... it was AMZN, tomorrow it will probably be LNKD.. such a rigged trading system that the SEC does not care to do anything about.

  • What will the MoMo manipulators do for the rest of the day? Oh.. I see its CMG's turn to run up.. LOL

I agree !! So over this roller coaster market. The manipulators are just churning the market to game the options market. I'm 90% cash.... waiting for the crash. Afterwards, maybe some normalcy will return to the market.. At least I hope so.

IBM will miss on top line and EPS and guide down

    by ndibari73 Apr 20, 2015 2:11 PM

Doesn't really matter what IBM reports... its the spin the wall street crowd puts on it. I don't even know why the companies waste time producing the earnings report.. LOL. NFLX missed on top/bottom line and forecasted the next quarter below estimates but the street focused on subscriber growth... and the stock went up $90+ since the report. Investing today is like going to a Casino.... just place your bets and hope you are on the right side to profit. The whole market trading system is RIGGED ! Weekly options have basically turned investing into gambling because those with power, privilege and means have basically gamed the system and stocks move wherever they need it to move regardless of what the company s actually doing or reporting

  • In the first quarter, streaming liabilities rose $626 million and there was deferred recognition of $1 billion in streaming content spending over the last two quarters. "It's crazy how they spend so much and nobody cares".
All you hear about is subscriber growth which means nothing if it doesn't come with earnings growth. Some day in the future, after Netflix stock flames out, some one is going to write a book about the shady trading going on in profit less stocks like AMZN, LNKD, NFLX, CRM etc.

You know the crooks have to sell their long positions first and then go short before they publically say the market is crashing. Such a Rigged system we have. Unfortunately it's the only game in town.

Wall Street is nothing but BS !! All smoke and mirrors ! Manipulation and Greed rules on the street. They don't even try to hide it any longer. You would think after the financial crisis of 2008 that the financial regulatory agencies would be a lot more vigilant, but apparently not. How do you explain the rise in stocks like NFLX, AMZN, LNKD, TSLA over and over again when their actual business prospects doesn't support it? The SEC jumped all over the marijuana stock trading and halted trading because of possible fraud, but they won't dare touch stocks like NFLX. If a stock can go up $70 after a huge EPS miss and a forecast below next quarter's estimate then odds are the trading is RIgged. As I stated before the earnings were announce, it didn't matter what NFLX reported, it was the spin the crooks on the street put on it. Growth in subscribers should mean nothing without accompanying increase in profits and revenues, but the crooks say different. they control the game, so the stock goes up and stays up all morning. Imagine what would have happen to AAPL on a slight EPS miss or if they just met estimates. The analyst would be saying the end is near for AAPL even though AAPL is the most profitable company on the planet.. REAL profits not 2020 forecasted revenue growth potential...

"Plenty of room to grow subs especially overseas" That's what all the US company's usually say, but the reality is not so in most cases. TSLA trying to use it to say EV sales growth will continue because of "overseas", but it's usually harder for US companies to continue growing. Cultures are not the same and the business operating environment also changes. "Lots of houses behind it"... from a contrarian point of view, if they are all in...who's left to jump in and continue pushing this scam higher. we are definitely closer to a peak than we were yesterday.. LOL but I agree the crooks and their bots can keep this going as long as market conditions allow them ! I'm just playing the odds...nothing but a gamble here.

Definitely wouldn't short this manipulated stock, but I will buy puts a few months out waiting for the inevitable fall ! Short covering is what fuels all of these pops and the manipulating crooks are controlling the float. Fundamentally, there is a maximum number of subscribers possible, so growth will definitely slow down. They are near that level and are still not cash flow positive and earnings is nonexistent. They only have so much flexibility to raise prices and content costs will be due. Secondary coming for sure ! NFLX stock has so many negatives that are being ignored by wall street because it is profitable for them to continue pushing this stock higher on nothing, but eventually this house of cards will fall !
