  • like AMZN, NFLX, GOOG, TSLA, CMG, EXPE, PCLN etc the better off this market will be. They are the reason the NASD is out performing today. Until that happens, the market is not through going down !! These blatant manipulation pops of $5 - $10 on very little volume will not work for long. Market direction is down!

    BUYBACK --- $5 Billion -- $530

    by kamkumar9999 Feb 10, 2016 4:06 PM

You do realize that they won't be spending that $5 bil in a short period of time. The buyback plan has been in place since 2010, they just increased the amount. Strictly a fluff PR to stop the stock price slide. Furthermore..AMZN has 471 mil shares outstanding. At the current price , 5 bil would only buy about 10 mil shares. A drop in the bucket. That 5 bil would buy a lot more shares when the stock drops back to under $200 where it belongs..lol.

Don't count it. By the end of the day tomorrow, it will be negative. Tops tomorrow at $155 ish early and then down hill from there, That's if it actually holds this bofgus AH pop.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • Up $42 on 25K shares. Wall street crooks can do a lot with a little shares in the AH. What a system !!.. its not rigged at all. PCLN is up along with EXPE even though EXPE missed earnings / revenue number. You can't beat these crooks.... too many weapons (manipulation tools)... LOL I hope it opens up $42 in the morning. Perfect place to buy more puts for the inevitable fall back into the $900's and lower.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • LOL. This is ridiculous. TSLA is running out of buyers for the 100K EV. No buyers of the product means the stock is going much lower. That Giga factory may never be needed.. LOL Huge money wasting boondoggle !

Longs... If the S&P can't hold in this area today.... the next leg down is going to be a whopper!! Hope you took some of those huge profits off the table on the rise this morning... otherwise more profit will evaporate very quickly.

Rocket.... LOL Still the same ole line after all these years..."patience". LOL Fast Eddie is only prolonging the inevitable bankruptcy filing. When he and his hedge fund associates have milked SHLD for all the $$ , then it will be filed. That day is a lot closer now for sure. LOL

Update: 117 - 98.... Profits evaporate pretty quickly don't they? Especially in a sick market.

    Sentiment: Sell

  • I received a lot of thumbs down because my warning That this market was sick and you should take something off the table or protect your profits via options! I'm not sure we are even near capitulation at this time. Every selloff without the "expected" bounce back creates more selling pressure. It's still not too late for some of you sitting on huge profits... take your profits (or protect them) before they evaporate in this sick market. The MoMO crooks are selling everything.. because they are being forced to sell !!

That's not AAPL DNA. they do not make large acquisitions to buy growth. All acquisitions are strategic... to improve their products and services. iPhone growth may be slowing, but its not over. There is no product coming to replace iPhone anytime soon. It's funny how wall street continuously states iPhones have peaked and then AAPl proves them wrong. Still highly profitable company with real present earnings that gets the cold shoulder from wall street. No "TSLA" like..2020 projected profits or AMZN "take over the world" hype, just true revenues and associated earnings!!

You are still viewing the market through the "momentum" glasses of the past few years. Momentum investing fad may not return any time soon. FB crushed it, but valuation is still high. Also did you notice that FB slashed spending tremendously last quarter. That helped pad the earnings numbers. also GOOG slashed spending to crush earnings. Both FB and GOOG are totally dependent on the advertising $$. If Ad spending starts to slow down... its not good for either company. CRM...I have always thought there are accounting gimmicks going on there, and NFLX... why are they valued based on subscriber growth vice true earnings? Wall street has this way of focusing on specific numbers other than earnings until that number starts to fade. subscriber growth is slowing at NFLX, so its about to roll over too. AAPL has been hit hard already and it actually has true earnings and trades at a PE of 10. Less than that if you factor in cash holdings. And one thing for sure AAPL will bounce back around product announcement periods. So I would rather start establishing a position in AAPL now for the payoff in the summer/fall timeframe.

Thats the problem with the "analyst" game. And I do mean game because that's all it is. Those supposed professional analyst are only looking out for themselves(bonuses), their firms and their very rich clients. The SEC and other regulators let these crooks continually get away with this "false" investment advice with no repercussions at all. A simple thing like making them publish a scorecard with all their advice and investment results would give the public something to readily judge their investment advice skills. Take anything they say with a grain of salt. It took a lot longer than I thought before wall street would turn on TSLA, but I knew eventually it would after the crooks milked the stock for all they could. Now the crooks will make even more $$ running it down fast... and then the "fraud" lawyers will step in to sue TSLA caused the stock dropped ...LOL

VIX is at 26. Climbed in the afternoon after being relatively stable most of Friday. Wouldn't take much to spike over 30 on Monday morning. Another more reliable fear indicator is price of gold. The GLD actually spiked at the end of the day and closed at the high. This much needed correction is not the "flash" type, IMO. Technical and sentiment damage has been done. "Buy the dip" sentiment has turned into. "Sell every rally". It would be better for the market long term if this correction actually runs its course over a few weeks with no immediate flash crash like rebound. The bubble in MOMO stocks needs to be deflated completely so that stock fundamentals matter once again.

I guess that's possible but highly unlikely. The market didn't bounce that much at the end of the day. MOMO stocks closed near their lows... That's not the usual pattern if a reversal/ bounce was coming on the next trading day. I think there will be more forced selling on Monday morning without the typical mid day reversal. Fear is in the air.

FB and CRM are not even decent in this market. They were part of the MoMo rise of 2015 and will most likely be sold off as the selling continues. AAPL....is the only one I would be nibbling on right now for the long term (6 months+)

You better be quick on the trigger.... If the market does bounce on Monday (a BIG If), it will be short lived. All rallies are being sold!! Some serious technical damage has been done to the market. MoMo hedge funds are now being forced to sell.... It may take at least a few more trading days to stabilize this market and then the downdraft still may not be over.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • the so called "professional" analyst on CNBC come out on a day like today... and try to tell investors that LNKD is OK and that this is a buying opportunity. Not one so called professional analyst cautioned investors at all before the earnings debacle. LNKD's valuation is still off the charts and they tell folks to buy the dip with a straight face. LOL.

  • Is this enough ??? Has it sold off enough to buy this bloated internet retailer that wants to be everything from a web host, grocery deliverer, electronic device maker etc etc etc. ? Well I'm here to tell ya.... you ain't seen nothing yet.... This stock could be back in the mid to high 300's minimum before this much need correction is over! This is what happens when all the MoMo crooks go for the exit at the same time.... and just wait for the margin calls to hit ....

  • wuwuwu3 wuwuwu3 Feb 5, 2016 11:58 AM Flag

LOL. The logic is that the stock should have never been that high. And its still tremendously overvalued by all true investment metrics. Just another case of a wall street bubble being deflated. Market is sick... so all the overinflated / hyped stocks will get slaughtered. Much need market correction is here. Afterwards value and true investment fundamentals will matter once again... not the MoMO hype of the past couple years.
