Hard to read on my cell phone but it appears at first glance these related entities are all major stockholders and represent a fair combined % of the company thus the 13G filings if I read it right:
QVT Financial LP owns 1,951,382 shares or 3.27%
QVT Financial GP LLC owns 1,951,382 shares or 3.27%
QVT Associates GP LLC owns 1,951,382 shares or 3.27%
QVT Fund V LP owns 1,511,021 shares or 2.53%

    Timing revisited

I agree with you BigBarta. ALSO-remember how the ARC-520 Ph1 at 1mg/k had some folks that had very high results in KD. (some thought it was a mistake) I expect to see the same thing as we all take a medicine different. IF just 10-20% react very well & quickly to get to seroconversion, we could see some good results sooner than most realize. The stock shorts are now covering as many of them smell critical data is coming soon and Ph2B trials it is getting serious to prove the model. The cc yesterday didn't show urgency, but Dr. A did say information could be released at any time. For what he has been put through with the shorts and the litigation, I don't think I would tip the shorts of to hurry and cover as we have info coming next week. So I do expect to see the covering to continue and doing it down here below $4-5 has been a great deal for the shorts. They made a ton of money and the general market in Biotechs helped them a ton the past several months. Getting time to cover and flip to a long position soon. Have a great evening everyone!!

    If I were Roche....

    by hparch Feb 8, 2016 8:47 AM

Obwan: AND if we are successful here with this very TRICKY disease (your words), what do you think others are thinking in delivering their new drugs OR old drugs that could further a patent protection into the future using our DPC???? Dr. A did say something about seeing other opportunities with our DPC that I feel should generate LOTS OF DEAL MONEY and product diversification delivering other companies BEST science we now can earn a nice piece of and THEY PAY FOR IT PLUS. Have a great day!

Yea, the DPC moved from ROCHE that couldn't get it to work towards ARWR that did get it to work!!! Funny, the $200 Million Dollar Company management succeeded with DPC while the $100+ BILLION dollar company management burned out!!!! Yet, we have people here bashing our SUCCESSFUL management team that has taken RNAi delivery and KD to RECORD performance in BOTH the Live and OUTSIDE THE LIVER!!!! Amazing how folks get so twisted up they can't see what is happening right before their eyes. 1 in 20 folks on the planet have a severe HepB issue. Should TeamARWR solve this and who will get a Nobel Prize one day????

I understand your thoughts and can agree. With that thought, it tells me they are seeing data that tells them it is not risky to wait another quarter or two. Seroconversion is the key IMO in just ONE cohort group and that could be just months away from talking about. I think Yee's question about seroconversion was a strong hint at what he and other big firms want to see and that will drive the DEAL terms and conditions in a massive way. Take care War and have a great week!

War: The funding will have NOTHING to do with the PPS IMO. I do not see this company raising future funds via a stock offering. I see nothing but DEALS in the future that attached to specific products and marketing areas around the world. The dilution I see that is at stake is HOW much royalty % can be retained for each deal. The more we know-the better our negociations for A) MORE MONEY & B) Give up less % of sales. NO STOCK Dilution IMO

I got from M. Yee that his big trigger is "seroconverion" via his question. That is exactly what I feel they want to show PRIOR to cutting any deals with anyone and they see that happening in at least ONE or several of the cohort groups. This would be a massive milestone that would double or triple the dollars discussed in a deal of some kind. (REMEMBER-we are talking HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS in different valuations at this point) How far is this out? 2-3-4 months??? Have they seen solid data already (via open label) that gives them this amazing level of confidence to push the funding deals down the road another quarter or two??? The more we know of 520 success and/or AAT success the more can be raised while giving up less for the long run of this company. IMO the cc was what I expected. It certainly gives the shorts more time to cover and I see that starting to happen at a good pace now. Biotech sell off should be nearing an end as valuations are super attractive-unless the entire market takes a new dump. M. Yee even said that on CNBC a few days ago. He said to start nibbling at these levels with a 3-5 year outlook. Summary: Hate the current stock price, but love the opportunity at these prices as opportunity is alive and very well as per the science achievements to date and current 3+ quarters of cash available. Have a great week.

Qlover: WHO got the DPC platform to WORK and GENERATE ALL TIME RECORD KD's in HUMANS??? Was not ROCHE was it???? The team that many here are bashing saw the changes needed, tested it, and now we are in many trials all over the world. Clearly it wasn't a TRILLION dollar platform when they sold it to us because their team had not reached the goals our team has. Have a great CC everyone. Don't expect much this early in the Monarch/2001-Extended trials, but lets hope we learn more of how the science continues to move further forward to reach commercial opportunity goals. Getting close to learning enough to find a partnership, but I don't see us there YET today. Give it another 2-3 months. Take Care All!

Yea, Roche sold ARWR the DPC with rights to the first 5 drugs to follow and NOW you say they want it to die??? Oh, and NVS wants it to die also, so they sold their Billion Dollar RNAi IP and took mostly stock for payment??? And you call our management team clowns??? Have a great week.

Great posts holdencf. Love your amazing humor and I can't wait to spend a few days chasing salmon, halibut and lingcod with you off the Vancouver Island Northwest Coast this summer (July/Aug). My Denver Defense Pick held up. Manning didn't have a great game, but he had limited mistakes. Hope it takes the Elway route and leave the game on top. A great guy he has been to represent the NFL. Have a great evening!!!

It is temping to buy some right now, but I'm going to wait as the over all market just feels ugly for a bit more time. Getting very close. Election chatter on the Dem Side will keep our biotechs volatile, but I see NOTHING happening in the end.

My wife did three years ago in both wrists and she is doing GREAT. Took only about two weeks. Depends on the damage you have. I have had it for over 35 years and I stretch my fingers and thumb down for 10 second holds several times a day to loosen up things and that helps me. Good luck, as I understand your concerns as I had a great friend go through it and it didn't go well and now both his wrist are locked. Doing ok, but has little strength in his hands to hold or twist things. Take Care

Hmm-got out a bit to early on this one. Now waiting for a new entry point in LABU for some upside recovery in our oversold Biotechs. Have a great week all. Denver Defense HELD THE DAY!

PLUS as we further bring on SubQ where our first indications lead us to drug durations up to 8-9 MONTHS and now you have a formula that can be very easy and effect to keep folks alive, living a beter life, and pushing back the bad effects HepB can do over long periods of time. SAVES general medical costs in the end. I see nothing but a WIN-WIN for all here with the KD we are seeing in both Chimps and Humans. Billions dollar markets are right around the corner for a company with a MarketCap under 200 Million. Crazy Fun!---and this is just ONE of our future potential opportunities!

PT: I think ROCHE and all the others that could be bidding against each other could not buy stock off the market due to their privy to insider info. That is why you never see companies that are bidding for a new science deal and they know they have competition, jump in and buy stock to hedge their potential loss to getting a deal with the new science. They could buy AFTER a deal is released, but being in the hot time of the hunt would not allow them or anyone else from buying stock off the street. Another weak day in all biotechs hurting us today. Could change before days end, but we have broken down some key data in the general markets further pushing negativity for all for now. Looking forward to tomorrow and any update they feel they can give us. NOT expecting big stuff this early, but maybe some encouraging and confident presenters.

I agree with you PT. PLUS-I feel we still know more about the the 9 chimps not disclosed. Take that added info and match it up with the new Monarch and 2001-Extended info coming in could get a very clear picture to share with potential partners LONG before they disclose this new info to the public. Take care and have a great week.

No argument from me Holden. You could be dead on. I just feel the market size is so large for 520/521and we have recently seen some failures with the other big companies, we deserve more without giving up more. Early science results in both Monarch and 2001-EX will clearly set the deal. Either way, WE ALL WIN BIG here!!! Glad Dr. A is on our team and will be negotiating the deal. NON BETTER then him and his past 3 year track record of asset accumulations and initial trial results with ARWR is our proof!! Enjoy the game and have a great Sunday with family and friends.

I agree with you and I feel it is much sooner than later. GILD stock is down $60 BILLION in market cap from its highs. They are ALL MOTIVATED to find the next big thing AND will all go in early as they spot what they feel they want. A few hundred million to these companies is pocket change to get in on new great science as it shows itself. They invest in a dozen like this to get ONE good one to the market and then make BILLIONS each year and for many years. ARWR's day for non-dilutive funding is coming. Have a great weekend!
