I am short this. It's because of the movie coming out. First, it will make a fortune all by itself. Then, the merchandising. It's everywhere. In markets you have to go against logic. Shorting is stupid because it needs a stop which is impossible. So I did just a tiny amt. For entertainement. That's all.
I am in just once (06/19/2000) and have done nothing with it. It's not a popular stock, nobody talks about it. When there is a change it will be time to begin selling.
You are not supposed to sell any part of a stock as long as its out of favor it makes things simple. No stop for a start. And then if it does go up a lot you still do nothing. Until the situation is becoming stable. Finally started selling Argentina because a free market candidate was going to maybe win (started selling) and did (did more). Now that better times are ahead, its time to lighten up. But no way is that with Greece.
It's true. If you sell it goes up. You know that and are no fool. So you keep it. Which means it has to drop more. No? The only solution is to buy just a little so no need to capitulate and a continuous drop is a time for reflection but no action.
I screwed up with coal, shippers, Greece. What did I learn? Nothing. The market is not a teacher. On the other hand Argentina Mexico Brazil Russia are really getting it together. New high on sbrcy. So nothing is going to change. Buy low. NBG is most likely a buy. I wonder if it will go to .20 as that's what everybody expects. But the future is a blank slate.
There is no such thing as aa bad day. Or a good day. Look at my GGAL yesterday. New high, vertical rise. Early in the day. So what. Same with EDN. Stuff happens. This has been going on since 2002. Whatever. Now BTU will either die or not. When ACI was 10 I knew it would collapse. But kept it. Because the worst thing is to know anything. If you could look at the price action and draw conclusions. If the past gave some indications about the future. It would be a useful tool and quite profitable. People actually, and this is hard to believe, they put in a stop. As if the random fluctuations made some sense. All this does is lock the loss in.
I have posted about this since mid 20s. People I guess think this is a has been wedded to the pc. Or something. Who is buying if it is always being dumped? Floor members? Specialists? Would be exciting to find out.
