1 Corinthians 6:8-10 (New International Version)
8 Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters. 9 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men[a] 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
The idolaters aren't complaining, thieves (even those employed by the government) aren't complaining, greedy people aren't complaining, drunkards have no complaints, most slanderers (some are slandering Mr. Robertson) aren't complaining and swindlers aren't complaining. What makes Gay people and GLAAD so special?
There is now scientific proof the TEA Party people are so much smarter than you that you'll never have the mental capacity how dumb you are compared to them.
Poor teacher didn't have much to work with and now neither do you. A 3 inch hooz will always end up short.
A liberal professor at Yale Law School did a study to find out which political groups are the smartest when it comes to science. To his surprise the data shows Tea Party people are smarter than liberals. That should be obvious to all but the most ignorant and uneducated.
In any discussion between authentic conservatives and liberals, it becomes quickly apparent who is better informed and who is in touch with the facts. Liberals almost always talk in terms of feelings, desires and other emotionalism. Conservatives, on the other hand, almost always speak in terms of history, facts and law.
When dealing with mature and rational people, the conservative’s language is always more effective. But in a society driven by emotionalism, whose god is their belly, too often facts and truth fall on deaf ears. Indeed, those who are dedicated to serving their bellies are in a war with reality and truth.
Still, it is incumbent on conservatives to continue the effort to educate the American people out of the lies they have been fed by the elites and the intelligentsia for decades. And it is incumbent on us to simply defeat them politically where they cannot be won intellectually.
Many tea-party supporters are small businessmen who see taxes and regulations as direct threats to their livelihood. Unlike establishment Republicans who see potential gains from government programs such as infrastructure funding, these tea partiers regard most government spending as a deadweight loss. Because many of them run low-wage businesses on narrow margins, they believe that they have no choice but to fight measures, such as ObamaCare, that reduce their flexibility and raise their costs—measures to which large corporations with deeper pockets can adjust.
This should be obvious to all but the people too mentally deficient to comprehend rational thought. It is these mentally inferior people like Genna and his Hooz who are captivated by left-wing media propaganda that hate TEA Party people who are far more intelligent than their critics.
Throughout history we've never seen a transfer of wealth from rich to poor lift people out of poverty. Instead, we've seen the free market and commerce lift people out of poverty. Liberals have always portrayed this idea that there's only a certain amount of wealth in the United States (and the world) and that people are poor because the rich people at the top are hoarding all of the money. This isn't true. There isn't a ceiling on the amount of wealth that can be created through the free market and commerce. There is a ceiling on wealth redistribution and government handout aka taking from "the rich" and giving to the poor.
Earlier this month in an effort to shift attention away from the Obamacare rollout, President Obama pivoted back to something he does best: promoting class warfare under the guise of caring about equality. Liberals claim to care about the poor, but the harsh reality is that Democrats have been in control of the poorest parts of the country for 50 years and very little has changed.
Over the weekend, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich made this point as former Clinton Labor Secretary Ronald Reich tried to pin an increase in poverty under Obama on Republicans.
"Every major city which is a center of poverty is run by Democrats. Every major city. Their policies failed, they're not willing to admit it and the fact is it's the poor who suffer from bad government," Gingrich said.
Under Barack Obama, we've seen the largest deficit between the rich and poor in the United States since the Census Bureau started keeping data on the wealth gap. As Investor's Business Daily recently pointed out in an editorial, Obama (and his defenders) is complaining about the income gap after significantly widening it while failing to acknowledge his wealth redistribution policies aren't working to bring poor people into the middle class.
The president has been decrying the growing gap between rich and poor in the U.S. to help sell his retread tax-and-spend proposals. But those policies have already produced record levels of income inequality.
Dang......so close. That's could have been tragic......we could have ended up with crazy Joe as president.
Colorado’s package of gun laws, enacted this year after mass shootings in Aurora, Colo., and Newtown, Conn., has been hailed as a victory by advocates of gun control. But if Sheriff Cooke and a majority of the other county sheriffs in Colorado offer any indication, the new laws — which mandate background checks for private gun transfers and outlaw magazines over 15 rounds — may prove nearly irrelevant across much of the state’s rural regions.
Some sheriffs, like Sheriff Cooke, are refusing to enforce the laws, saying that they are too vague and violate Second Amendment rights. Many more say that enforcement will be “a very low priority,” as several sheriffs put it. All but seven of the 62 elected sheriffs in Colorado signed on in May to a federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the statutes.
The resistance of sheriffs in Colorado is playing out in other states, raising questions about whether tougher rules passed since Newtown will have a muted effect in parts of the American heartland, where gun ownership is common and grass-roots opposition to tighter restrictions is high.
In New York State, where Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo signed one of the toughest gun law packages in the nation last January, two sheriffs have said publicly they would not enforce the laws — inaction that Mr. Cuomo said would set “a dangerous and frightening precedent.” The sheriffs’ refusal is unlikely to have much effect in the state: According to the state’s Division of Criminal Justice Services, since 2010 sheriffs have filed less than 2 percent of the two most common felony gun charges. The vast majority of charges are filed by the state or local police.
In Liberty County, Fla., a jury in October acquitted a sheriff who had been suspended and charged with misconduct after he released a man arrested by a deputy on charges of carrying a concealed firearm. The sheriff, who was immediately reinstated by the governor, said he was protecting the man’s Second Amendment rights.
And in California, a delegation of sheriffs met with Gov. Jerry Brown this fall to try to persuade him to veto gun bills passed by the Legislature, including measures banning semiautomatic rifles with detachable magazines and lead ammunition for hunting (Mr. Brown signed the ammunition bill but vetoed the bill outlawing the rifles).
“Our way of life means nothing to these politicians, and our interests are not being promoted in the legislative halls of Sacramento or Washington, D.C.,” said Jon E. Lopey, the sheriff of Siskiyou County, Calif., one of those who met with Governor Brown. He said enforcing gun laws was not a priority for him, and he added that residents of his rural region near the Oregon border are equally frustrated by regulations imposed by the federal Forest Service and the Environmental Protection Agency.
I don't know for sue but any minute now the Raven's 3 inch hooz will pop up to provide him with needed support.
He's still a Marxist......he just knows full blown communism wouldn't sell at this point so he just "nudges" things as close to it as he can get away with.
Does that make Woodard a racist?
Pssssst.......Global warming is a left wing hoax to raise taxes and make fat hypocrites like Owl Gore very rich.
That's one way to lower costs.......cancel people's insurance and make them pay twice as much for one that doesn't allow the treatment you need and want from a Physician you have confidence in.
The Obama administration decided that Obamacare Navigators, tasked with helping Americans enroll in a health insurance plan, would not undergo mandatory background checks. Now, in the ten weeks since the launch of Healthcare.gov, the ill-trained Navigators have put Americans' sensitive health and tax information at risk.
Breitbart News has obtained a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee report on the Obamacare Navigators that will be released Monday. It has found that Obamacare Navigators have been giving Americans misinformation and, in some cases, actively encouraging enrollees to commit fraud in order to raise their subsidies. To complicate matters further, there is no way for Americans to find out whether their Navigators are properly certified.
Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said at a Congressional hearing that it was “possible” for convicted felons to become Navigators. The report, titled Risks of Fraud and Misinformation with ObamaCare Outreach Campaign: How Navigator and Assister Program Mismanagement Endangers Consumers, concludes that is only one of many worries Americans should have about Navigators.
The Oversight Committee, chaired by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), and HHS actually learned that "poorly-trained Navigators gave consumers incorrect information about the health care exchanges, violated HHS rules and procedures, and even encouraged applicants to commit tax fraud in some instances." Moreover, this was learned from various news reports due to the complete lack of any internal oversight.
On November 21, the Obama administration briefed the Committee. Those in attendance included Gary Cohen, the Deputy Administrator and Director of the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO), and Mandy Cohen, Director of the Consumer Support Group at CCIIO.
The Committee report concluded that "documents call into question the effectiveness of the Navigator program and the Obama administration's ability to safeguard consumer information." HHS’s mismanagement of the Navigator and Assister programs "induces fraudulent behavior and poses real threats to the safety of consumers’ personally identifiable information, such as one's social security number, yearly income, and other sensitive tax information," the report found.
The report also discovered that Obamacare Navigators have "encouraged consumers to commit tax fraud by underreporting income in order to qualify for ObamaCare’s health insurance subsidies." Some have "assisted applicants before completing their 5 to 20 hour online training course, and others took custody of paper applications and mailed them for the applicant, violating the rule that applicants must mail in the application themselves."
For instance, the Committee found:
Navigators from the Urban League of Dallas were captured on video encouraging applicants to lie on their health insurance application so the applicants could qualify for tax subsidies. Navigators were also recorded advising an applicant to lie about her smoking habits to obtain a lower monthly premium. It was later discovered that two of the so-called Navigators involved in the incident were assisting consumers with their applications even though they had not completed their training and certification requirements.
One self-identified Navigator gave a television interview in which she told viewers blatantly incorrect information—that applicants’ credit scores could impact their eligibility for certain plans. It later came to light that the woman was not a certified Navigator but rather a volunteer with a Navigator organization.
Mountain Project, Inc., a Navigator organization in North Carolina, has been collecting and mailing paper applications on behalf of applicants, in violation of Navigator rules and procedures.
The report found that HHS officials responsible for the Navigator program did not learn of the aforementioned incidents from internal oversight procedures, but rather from news reports.
Over the weekend, Gun Owners of America President Larry Pratt sat down for an interview on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace. When pressed for solutions about how to prevent mass shootings and violence in the future, Pratt reminded Wallace and viewers of an all too common place where these types of incidents take place: in gun free zones.
"The legislation that is on the books is lethal. It is killing people. All of these gun free zones are murder magnets, and we’ve simply got to get rid of them. It’s an illusion to think that somehow we’re going to be safer because we can’t have a gun in a particular area, because the bad guy is gonna have a gun."
It's extremely important to remember that when violent mass shooters are confronted by a person with a gun, they often kill themselves. In the case of Newtown, Adam Lanza killed himself when he heard police sirens on their way. Last week in at a Colorado high school, a student determined to kill his teacher took his own life after being quickly confronted by an armed resource officer.
The verdict is in on gun free zones: they enable criminals and leave innocents as easy targets. It's time to eliminate them.
A new report produced by Rep. Darrell Issa's House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform reveals that Obamacare's controversial "Navigator and Assister" program has suffered from chronic poor management, resulting in widespread disarray, since the law's October 1 launch date. An advanced copy of the document obtained by Townhall raises a number of competency and security concerns. Below is a brief summary of its revelations and conclusions:
(1) "The preliminary staff report the Committee released on September 18, 2013 outlined concerns that lax Navigator and Assister training requirements and vague marketing standards increased the likelihood of identity theft for consumers," the report reads. "Despite several letters, hearings, staff briefings, and transcribed interviews with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services officials responsible for the program, HHS failed to heed the Committee’s warnings. And, as predicted, after open enrollment began, news reports revealed poorly-trained Navigators gave consumers incorrect information about the health care exchanges, violated HHS rules and procedures, and even encouraged applicants to commit tax fraud in some instances."
(2) "Major problems" have plagued the navigator program's performance, the committee's verdict concludes. These issues caused confusion on basic enrollment procedures and led to faulty advice and guidance being relayed to consumers. Some assisters allegedly urged customers to violate the law, while others broke the rules themselves. HHS officials responsible for the Obamacare navigator operation reportedly discovered several of these breaches through external media reports, rather than "internal oversight procedures," which the report suggests is indicative of a "lax" culture of self-policing.
(3) Obamacare's navigators and assisters were utterly unprepared for Healthcare.gov's technical difficulties, and were provided with no contingency plans by their superiors. "Unable to use the website because of widespread glitches, Navigators lacked direction from HHS on how to sign up consumers," according to the report, which states that it took administration officials three weeks to begin implementing a back-up plan: "Because of its failure to anticipate and prepare adequately for website problems, it took HHS three full weeks to comprehend the vast scale of the technical problems and direct Navigators away from the website and toward paper applications. The push towards the use of paper applications further increases security risks, since health insurance exchange applications contain personally identifiable information."
The Wall Street Journal reported in August that efforts to hire and prepare navigators were "barely off the ground," forcing the Obama administration to scale back training requirements related to the program. Various state-level officials also raised concerns about whether citizens' private data would be safe in the hands of under-vetted government employees hired to walk consumers through the application process. HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius confirmed in Congressional testimony last month that the president's signature law does not preclude convicted felons from being hired with taxpayer money to handle the public's sensitive personal information. An undercover investigation by the conservative group Project Veritas exposed unethical and illegal behavior by a series of government employees operating under Obamacare's navigator umbrella. According to the organization's reporting, five navigators have been dismissed as a result of its investigation. The Obama administration on Friday declined to comply with a House Oversight Committee subpoena regarding the state of Healthcare.gov's IT security measures. In a letter to the committee, HHS officials stated that providing such information to Congressional overseers could itself constitute a security risk, flatly indicating that the administration doesn't trust Rep. Issa to handle such sensitive information -- which is his committee's task. The full staff report will be released to the public later today. Chairman Issa will also convene a Monday field hearing into the navigator program near Dallas, Texas at 1:30 pm local time.
1. The Vatican has large investments with the Rothschilds of Britain, France and America, with the Hambros Bank, with the Credit Suisse in London and Zurich. In the United States it has large investments with the Morgan Bank, the Chase-Manhattan Bank, the First National Bank of New York, the Bankers Trust Company, and others. The Vatican has billions of shares in the most powerful international corporations such as Gulf Oil, Shell, General Motors, Bethlehem Steel, General Electric, International Business Machines, T.W.A., etc. At a conservative estimate, these amount to more than 500 million dollars in the U.S.A. alone.
2. The Vatican's treasure of solid gold has been estimated by the United Nations World Magazine to amount to several billion dollars. A large bulk of this is stored in gold ingots with the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank, while banks in England and Switzerland hold the rest. But this is just a small portion of the wealth of the Vatican, which in the U.S. alone, is greater than that of the five wealthiest giant corporations of the country. When to that is added all the real estate, property, stocks and shares abroad, then the staggering accumulation of the wealth of the Catholic church becomes so formidable as to defy any rational assessment.
3. The Catholic church is the biggest financial power, wealth accumulator and property owner in existence. She is a greater possessor of material riches than any other single institution, corporation, bank, giant trust, government or state of the whole globe. The pope, as the visible ruler of this immense amassment of wealth, is consequently the richest individual of the twentieth century. No one can realistically assess how much he is worth in terms of billions of dollars.
