    Obama = Cloward-Piven

    Sure I am -- cut taxes, increase tax revenue. Cut taxes some more, increase tax revenues more. Cut taxes again, increase tax revenues even more. The more taxes you cut, the more tax revenue the government takes in. I'm just reaching the logical conclusion -- cut them by 100% and you will maximize tax revenue. What am I missing?

    Absolutely! Following your logic, we should just abolish taxes altogether, then the government will have so much tax revenue it'll -- wait, that makes no sense....

    Drummer, do you follow ARWR?

    The number of shares short increased by over 4 million during November, to just under 37 million. That may explain a lot of the big blocks of selling we saw above 5.60 during the month. By the same token, today's high volume might indicate that at least some of them have bailed on their position. As a percentage of float, RAD's short interest is three to four times that of WAG and CVS, so we might see some interesting movement if it's a good earnings report. Personally I've learned never to expect too much, and I've seen way too many "sell the news" events to be completely comfortable holding my entire position going into Thursday. If we stay above 5.80 after the report I'll be happy.

    Update - S&P down 60 points this week, RAD up a penny.

    Also thanks for the tip on SD drummer, I did my DD and bought 10K today at 1.74 for my retirement account.

    for the first time since the plunge on 9/18, we have had five closes in a row above 5.60. Even though it doesn't feel like it sometimes, we are moving higher.

    Be grateful -- 5.63 was resistance not that long ago, now it looks like support.

    I agree, and also see the cup and handle someone mentioned. On the other hand, sometimes it feels like there is an inexhaustible supply of stock for sale. Spike sales of several hundred thousand shares at a time are commonplace, and I keep wondering who is so eager to get out at this level given all the good SSS reports lately. I'm long but not married to the position, and have a healthy respect for the resistance we've seen in the 5.60's.

    buythedog, one more thing -- I've come to the conclusion you're either unbalanced or you work for a hedge fund that is seriously short the stock. No one else would post as often as you do and lie so brazenly.

    Give me a break. The stock ran from 1 to 8, had a classic 50% FIbonacci retracement to 4.50 (also the first down leg of a five-part Elliot Wave up move), and is now beginning its second leg up, which is usually the longest of the three. Fundamentally, they are a highly leveraged company that is turning around its operations and is now cash-flow positive, which is historically the type of company that can deliver monstrous gains over a 3-5 year time period as debt is paid down. You obsess over each tick and bash the stock incessantly with irrelevancies. I suspect all of the (relatively few) mature and intelligent posters on this board (such as distantdrummer) have you on ignore like I do. I only read your last post because I figured it was a response to mine. Once our little back-and-forth here is done, you're back on ignore.

    When I go on this board, literally 80-90% of the posts are hidden. The post-a-minute bashers like buythedog have the same attitude toward this message board as today's GOP crazies do about the government -- their ultimate goal is to destroy the board's ability to be of use to people, so that eventually no one will believe in it or want to use it.
