    This might be a mistake

    by cheetah_two Nov 25, 2014 9:45 AM

So you are betting that the price of MU stays below $39.27 so the $37 calls you sold expire worthless and that the $28 calls that you bought stays above $35.75 so you can break even or profit on any increase greater then $37.75.
    Is that your thought?

There is a mortgage interest deduction as a live in homeowner.
The property value less the land value is also a business deduction based on the percentage of business use and the allowable time
period under IRS regs. Walmart usually has tax people in their stores starting pretty soon. Stop and talk to them.

I am not sure where you are located at and not sure where the property is.
It could be a good price, but you need to check what the properties around it have sold for and what properties are listed for. Need to check what the previous owner paid for the property. Check to see if it is a flip; as if it is they could have put some lipstick on it and jacked up the price. ALWAYS have a title search done before closing on it and never give the seller any money up front. Any deposits and sales contracts need to be given to the closing attorney or title company. Always have an inspection by a certified inspector and a termite inspection with letter.

Also I stay away from properties that have home owners associations and properties that you have to pay an association fee.

A cash cow is someone who puts up the down payment for the buyers home purchase. In
return the buyer has to repay the loan with a premium or interest and / or pledge a certain percentage of the proceeds from the sale of the home in an agreed time frame.

MU is currently at its 2dma and upper BB.
MU has closed above its 4dma for the last 5 days.
Just prior to this MU closed above the 4dma for 11 days straight.
If you look at prior formations like the one now; MU has always had a pullback of varying degrees.
    Current OP for 11/28 $34, 12/5 $32, 12/12 $32.50, 12/20 $31, 12/26 $33
My opinion is that MU will pull back and build an are of support.

Not knowing your full situation; let me suggest that you look for a for sale by owner with owner financing.
If the foreclosure rate is high that is where you will find motivated sellers. Some banks will also sell properties with financing that they had to foreclose on. I am not sure how you are with finances; but you could partner with what we call a cash cow who will partner with you on a property in exchange for certain things.

MU has broken the $34.85 barrier. The next area of resistance is at $39.50 set in place back in March of 2002. At least MU has made the new high today and may gain some more investors.
MU's price still closed above the upper BB and is still above all of its moving averages. MU could do a pullback to the 4dma ($33.80) before the week is over. OP is currently at $32.50 for Nov. 28.

Good luck. Just remember that 90% of all call and put option buyers lose money and the MM's will jerk the stock price around to do that. If you see you have a profit, don't be greedy and hold out for more. It may be best to make some money rather then none.

Mike-- There is a common misconception about how or why markets move; be it random or based on TA. At least 90% of stocks are actually traded by computers that are programmed to skim money from each trade. Be it MM's, trading houses or large investors. The computers can be programed to trade using moving
averages computed in increments of micro seconds or milliseconds. Then you have computers that are programmed to throw out and retract bids so fast that they can move a stock up or down as needed. Common investors have a very hard time trading against the machines. The best way is the Warren Buffett way.
Buy low and sell high. You will not always get in at the bottom and will not get out at the top.
I use MA and OP as tools to help make decisions on investing. They are not without flaws; because you cannot predict the above. That is one reason I sell put options on devalued stocks. A bottom formation is much easier to see then a top and most of the time that is when put option premiums are higher and will give rates of return greater the 50% per year on the money used to secure the
    position.
