    Highlow;
    In looking at the chart. Drawing a line from
    $36.59 on 12/8/14 to the high at $32.84 on 2/17/15 and extending out to today 4/29/15 at $28.87.
    The downtrend line looks to be support as the 5 days prior all closed above the down trending line and today's close was exactly at $28.87. Today's close was also right at the 10 DMA.
    So what do you think? Bounce or drop?

    Based on the outstanding put and call options, $29 looks to be where MU will settle out. XQ

    Your statement about option traders is not exactly correct. 90% of call and put options buyers lose money. The cards are stacked against them. I am a put option seller. I make trades bases on certain parameters that are in my favor. The major MM's have the advantage over smaller traders as they can move the stock to a price level that makes the most money for their book and caused the greatest loss for the options buyers. Remember that the MM's are playing multiple option contracts that are spread over different time frames,

    I remember that guy. He and some other RMBS supporters all got together for lunch or something and posted a group picture. Another poster by the name of gregorylynn also was posting on RMBS defending MU. He would remember a lot of what went on. All the court case info was being posted on a Court Website so that it could be followed.

    There was a time that MU and Hynix were being sued by Rambus. Many posters on this board were boasting about how much they were going to make shorting MU. Needless to say when the verdict came out a lot of people lost money being short. If I remember there was one person so sure MU was going to zero that they bet the farm and then some. That person committed suicide. Sad story.
    In the alternative there was a Rambus poster that bet the farm that Rambus would win the suit. He lost everything including his life also. His wife posted his demise on the Yahoo message board.

    So, If you are short or long explain why. Stop with the #$%$ immature rants and have some decent discussions.

    Certain EURO stocks would fall into the same situation. Canada is more investor friendly as they have reporting requirement similar to the US. There system is called SEDAR. XQ

    Cheetah;
    You missed my point. With the US $ having appreciated against the CAD $ the stocks and underlying assets are selling at a discount. On top of that, the oil type stocks are further devalued. Stocks that hold real estate, oil and gas reserves and minerals are becoming screaming bargains. The companies that pay out a dividend make it even better.

  • Although I believe that MU has further to run on the upside; it is never a sound idea to put all your money it just one or two stocks. I have for a while, have been watching different markets around the world as investment possibilities. Many markets have stocks that look attractive but there is a lack of valid information with regards to the underlying stocks. The one market that really interest me is the Canadian market; especially with the dollar gaining strength against the Canadian dollar. Many of these stocks are set up as REITS and Trusts that pay out dividends. So I put together some information over at Investors Village on the MU Board about Buying Stocks at a Discount and how the exchange rate is allowing US investors to basically buy assets for less then they are worth. Today 3/19/2015 114,592 April 17, 2015 call contracts were written and sold. 108,454 at the $9 strike.
    That is either a pretty big bet or someone in the know.

    Years ago I owned PBY stock and made a real nice double on the stock along with a 6% yield.
    I used their service department for various services. The one thing that really bothered me was the customers were always having problems with their service. I had several incidents where my local PBY service department really screwed up so I stopped going and sold my stock.
    The biggest problem for PBY is their service department. When they make a customer unhappy, that customer never comes back for anything. They need to do away with all service except for tires and oil changes.

    Is RAD a Buy Out Subject?

    Two days ago 26,000+ call contracts were written and bought. That was 10 times the number of put contracts that were written and sold. Does that tell you something? XQ

  • Strategy;
    CVS and WBA have been busting butt to build new stores on high profile, high traffic corners. RAD on the other hand is locating stores in neighborhoods that have high income profiles. The land costs are less and the customers are closer. Many of the old Eckard stores that RAD acquired, were at one time in neighborhoods that had lower income profiles. RAD has been closing these under performing stores. In the end RAD is revamping their image through both renovations of prime existing stores and the newer stores in more affluent neighborhoods. If RAD has started to build stores and then sell them with a lease back type format; RAD's earnings will start to show signs of life.
    I am in this a $3.95 per share and look for much higher prices. Maybe even a buyout. XQ

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
