    Stopped at store #2703 today?

He is speaking to the fact that ODP is still in the process of closing stores. That will be ongoing as leases expire and are not renewed. That would not stop a merger with SPLS. If that merger would occur more real estate would be closed and the company would make more money.

They will be buying shares that the shorts borrowed and sold. If you have shares in a non margin account, the broker can not lend them out. If you have shares in a margin account, the broker can lend them out and collect a fee. If you do not want the broker to lend your shares out place a sell order against them for a very high price.

Rite Aide needs to change their store model. Both WAG and CVS find and buy prime locations for stores. They build their store and then turn around and sell it to an investor with a triple net lease back. This gives them a long term low rent store that they can fully stock from the proceeds of the sale / lease back.
RAD has predominately just leased existing buildings and are subject to adverse rental conditions.

I have been long RAD for quite some time now and I am not putting RAD down. It is a good company and is starting to get their act together. I am pretty close to a double and will continue to hold long term.

MU sitting at its 9 dma

    by xquestor Nov 10, 2014 1:44 PM
xquestor xquestor Dec 18, 2014 8:24 PM Flag

With regards to oil; Nothing has changed. The producers are still pumping and prices should drop some more.
With regards to MU; MU put in a nice double bottom at the 100dma. The 2dma has moved back above the 4dma and MU is now trading close to the 9dma. The MU sell off shook out the weak hands and now looks poised to move above its previous high of $36.59. MU is in the 5th wave up of a 5 wave formation and should move to the $39.50 area before taking another break. $39.50 is the next previous high from March 2002.

With a continuity of my post in one thread, there is no question as to what and when I posted. That was SG's problem. It was always "I said in another post" and those posts were so difficult to locate. If it's that big of a problem, I will just keep my thoughts to myself and stop posting. Have a nice day.

MU opened on a gap down from yesterdays close. It opened below the 18dma at $34.99. As I posted on 12/10, I expected a close under $35. With MU's price now below $34.50 it appears to me that MU is headed for the 50dma or around $33.22. The support at $34.85 has been broken and the 2dma is now below the 18dma and the 4dma is at the 18dma and about ready to drop below. The long term prospects for MU are still looking good and the next earnings report should bear this out. The options for the week ending 12/20 look to be setting up for $33.50, which is the price that call and put option buyers will lose the most money.
