It will probably be lower when we open bears but the rest of the week will be all upside. Get ready.
85 degrees today and 81 yesterday here in the DC area. It's about time. Went for a couple long runs and got to spend quite a bit of time outside. It looks like it was nice throughout the country.
What a bunch of worthless parasites and hypocrites. Most of the people in this country would be dead within a month if the government didn't help them.
The government is not supposed to dictate how much money you make or what you do with your life so take some responsibility for your standing in life.
Your tax dollars at work. You're paying for these clowns to sit at home, collect their welfare check and then complain to the very people that provide them a living, the taxpayers, that they don't get enough free stuff.
I guess Pud is one of the Americans that doesn't pay taxes. No wonder he's giving me thumbs down.
Do you understand what "efficiently and effectively" mean? Do you really deny that there's enormous waste and abuse in government?
I'm especially interested in the responses from the Barry lovers.
Do you know anything about statistics? If you can measure to the thousandth degree and could only measure to the nearest 2 degrees 500 years ago then the data is going to be completely reliable. I didn't have to read beyond the first sentence because such an analysis is impossible to conduct and is entirely useless.
How do they know what the temperature was in North America in the year 1500 to any measurable degree? LOL!
You really are an idiot. Remember your call for the 1929 analogue crash back in January? This will be the same #$%$.
Big div has been appreciating all year. Look at K, GIS, MO, UL, etc. Heck, just look at XLU, the utilities ETF. Bonds have done well so far this year too.
With that said, we will bounce hard next week. I expect Monday to open down and it will either close green or it will gap up Tuesday and run.
What a moron. You need a valid id for ANY government service and this idiot thinks that if you need an id to vote than it's "suppressing minorities". Why don't we just let kids buy alcohol without ids and criminals buy guns without ids and background checks? After all, we're "suppressing their rights".
So you admit charts work and that you believe on prophecies on the same day? So it begins.
So, you admit that charts are indeed predictive.
She used mboardsmylife on me a few times too. She is obsessed with you, me, movingavgtrader and bloviatingbarry.
The biggest threat to America is the US government. They're a bunch of parasites and thugs under Barry's totalitarian dictatorship. He is the worst POTUS of all time.
The government is now going through old records to see if it overpaid people on Social Security. If it thinks it did, it can now seize the IRS tax refund checks of the CHILDREN of those people it thinks it overpaid.
This isn't a proposal—it's already happening. For the past three years, the government has been confiscating hundreds of thousands of Americans' tax refunds, according to the Washington Post. It has already confiscated $1.9 billion in tax refunds this year alone.
The amazing thing is that the government is doing this even if it has little or no proof and no exact details. And the letters the government sends to unsuspecting taxpayers are frightening, use accusatory language, and include other financial threats.
"They gave me no notice, they can't prove that I received any overpayment, and they use intimidation tactics, threatening to report this to the credit bureaus," Mary Grice, who had her tax refunds seized a few weeks ago, is quoted as saying.
As usual, no one in the government is willing to take the responsibility for this new policy—Social Security said it didn't do it, ask the Treasury Department. Treasury said—ask Congress.
If you think this is some kind of unprecedented outrage, you're right. But here's some advice: get used to it.
Tax refunds are clearly becoming the new promised land for government regulators and bureaucrats desperate for more revenues. We already know that confiscating tax refunds are the only real way the IRS will be able to impose Obamacare non-compliance penalties, and now it seems like the Social Security Administration is jumping on that bandwagon.
I was kidding. I just wanted to see your reaction and it turns out you didn't disappoint as you logged in and out 16 times to waste 30 minutes of your life.
