I agree that the SEC is down a little. Who would you put in though? I think we all agree FSU is a lock and is the most dominant team this year.
OSU hasn't played ANYONE in OR out of conference. Their biggest game by far is tonight. Beyond that, you have Auburn, Mizzou and Bama. The SEC has won 7 straight and it is still the best overall conference even in a down year. I think they deserve a shot to extend that streak. College Gameday said one loss SEC teams are UNDEFEATED against zero loss non-SEC (non-SEC so as not to count the Bama/LSU game) teams in the national championship.
The PAC 12 is very good now and the ACC and Big 12 are showing a lot of improvement as well. The Big Ten seems to be in decline.
I went to an ACC school btw so I'm not a diehard SEC backer but it's the best conference right now. I think FSU wins no matter who they play (my school is not FSU either).
I wouldn't call it a traditional investment either. Just a speculative place to throw away money. It ACTS the same as a stock though since it fluctuates so much. Stop pretending it's a currency. Gold doesn't move 50% a day.
Also, Georgia played Clemson (when Georgia was still healthy and a legit top 10 team) and UF played FSU and Miami. So there was some good non-conference scheduling going on.
SCAR over Clemson
Bama over VT
SCAR over UNC
Georgia over GT
LSU over TCU
Maybe these aren't huge wins, but they're good wins over good conference opponents. Which team are you going to claim played big non-conference teams? OSU? Nope. Oregon? Beat an ACC bottomfeeder, big deal. Sparty, Oklahoma and Stanford played Notre Dame but who else played anyone?
Yet doesn't realize he's doing the same thing. His posts the last 24-36 hours REEK of desperation and hope.
The only ones driving the price up are the Chinese. So yes, what the Chinese papers say DOES matter. Bitcoin is going to zero.
Post your picks here!
I'm only going with the power conference championship games but feel free to chime in on the AAC or Big 12 games. There should be three great games tonight. Here are my picks:
FSU over Duke
Auburn over Mizzou
ASU over Stanford (why is this LITERALLY a home game???)
OSU over Sparty although I really want Sparty to win!
LOL!!!!!! No one likes this loser President anymore. he is finished.
Buying overly valued and extremely speculative assets runs in the family.
Kibbles strikes me more as a Chevy Astro driver rather than a Dodge Caravan. The Astro is better for kidnapping and molesting children.
Yup. Pud licks his own pud off his bf after they're done like it's a big chocholate éclair.
Interesting. Good strategy if you're going to buy anyway. Might as well sell an ITM put and collect a little time premium along with it.
1. Why do you change your username almost every week?
2. When do you think you'll be able to use pud_bagholder_bitcoin?
No they will all be overvalued still. DIA and SPY are not overly overvalued but IWM and QQQ are insanely overvalued and there's no way 2014 could ever justify the P/Es. One of the other reasons this market is so overvalued besides QE is the absurdly low interest rate, which I believe is seriously suppressing the ACTUAL economy although it is great for stocks.
By sell I mean take in some sort of credit whether that be naked options, spread or some alternative strategy. Anybody else besides me? Anyone got any good strategies?
Shorting VIX instrument spreads are usually a pretty good idea. That is one of my strategies.
