Good post but we all know that the gov will not be shut down forever and the debt ceiling will be raised. Everybody knows this will happen sooner or later in one way or the other. Then why sell? To help the shorts to cover? To help their game? You said panic and institutional seller but there were buyers – people who believe this stock is very good at 27 plus? I am not afraid with what will happen. All the times I sold in panic in the past, I lost rallies and more profit. But it is not the question of profit and money alone. It is not only the question of profit, it is question of believing in a stock.
First Solar is still profitable, but its margins are declining while efficient module makers are increasing margins and growing markets.
SunPower will make about 1.1 GW of solar modules this year, so these two projects alone account for about 75% of the year's capacity.
To $29.00? No, the stock is depressed and will jump brutally plus short covering will follow. Clever shorts covered today. Less clever short will cover in violent for them environment.
SPWR will be up tomorrow.
If you take a plane or a car or you go to the street you can have accident. Everything is possible. Only the insiders know what will happen because they decided yet what they will do. For the time being, they are taking the money of scared investors and scared fund managers that play with the money of other people.
The question is that the sellers are FORCED sellers and the buyers are RATIONAL, CLEVER buyers who believe in the stock.
don't lose my time.
SunPower Corp. SPWR -4.73% is a mid-cap solar products developer positioned to rise.
With this month’s upturn, the shares have edged to three-year highs, clearing resistance at the July peak.
The resurgence comes despite broad-market weakness, and its relative strength positions the shares for a potentially more decisive breakout. Consider that SunPower is also well positioned on the weekly chart.
Coming into 2013, I called this the year of solar. My thesis was that costs had fallen enough to encourage a significant rise in demand and manufacturers would finally begin to see their financial conditions improve after two years of massive losses. Nine months into the year it looks like the industry is improving more quickly than I expected, and as a result stocks are on the rise.
more 2 cents for the post loser.
Everybody knows that you are the loser because you say you are shorting this stock from more than 5 months. How you can be a winner if you short from 12 bucks? Are you joking with me?
I hope all they go to hell.
