Believe in your intuition. This is the best. Of course researche is necessary.
Chasin you are saying this from the moment you sold at 17.60. You are hoping and believing in some miracle to happen and SPWR to return to under 10. The worls is going solar and if SPWR is the best US solar maker, financially backed by TOTAL, the stock will not go down unless really something realy unsane happens.
Germany, China and Japan are among at least 110 nations that signed a United Nations treaty to curb emissions of man-made mercury.
The Minamata Convention adopted at a conference in Japan would outlaw new mercury mines and reduce industrial use of the metal, the German Environment Ministry said today in an e-mailed statement. The treaty will enter into force if at least 50 signatories ratify the agreement, the ministry said.
Leaders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations approved a joint haze monitoring system to identify fires such as those in Indonesia which led to hazardous pollution levels in Singapore and Malaysia this year.
The system will involve the sharing of digitized land-use maps and concession maps of fire-prone areas that cause haze, according to a Singapore government statement yesterday. The data will be shared among the governments of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and Thailand.
"The boundary of passing from the climate of the past to the climate of the future really happens surprisingly soon," Christopher Field, director at the Department of Global Ecology at the Carnegie Institution for Science, told the Washington Post.
While scientists say climate departure is inevitable, cutting global carbon dioxide emissions can significantly slow the process. Under one better-case scenario, Earth would hit climate departure in 2069, the journal said.
Mexico City, for example, will hit climate departure in 2031, eight years after Kingston, Jamaica, reaches its global warming tipping point in 2023. For New York and Washington, D.C., the estimated year of climate departure is 2047, a year before Los Angeles. Phoenix and Honolulu are projected to reach climate departure in 2043, the earliest in the United States, while Seattle (2055) and Anchorage (2071) have a bit more time.
According to a new study in the scientific journal Nature, 2047. That's the year the planet will pass "climate departure," the moment when the average coolest temperature year is projected to be warmer than the average temperature of the hottest year between 1960 and 2005.

Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew warned that the congressional deadlock over the U.S. debt ceiling is “beginning to stress the financial markets,” and failing to raise it by Oct. 17 could put Social Security and Medicare payments at risk.
House Republican leaders will present their members with a proposal to raise the debt limit for six weeks without policy conditions, said a congressional aide familiar with the details. The move would lessen the risk of a U.S. default one week from a lapse in borrowing authority.
President Barack Obama said he would accept a short-term increase in the debt limit without policy conditions and that he would negotiate on broader fiscal and health-care policy after the debt limit is raised and the shutdown ends.
