Nokia will have a phone that works with the predominant OS in the world - not to mention in business. The phone looks to a be a winner by itself. It distinguishes itself by not copying the iPhone like Androids. Nokia just needs to execute - meaning no product glitches. W8 has to be a hit too for buyers to appreciate the integration between phone and PC. W8 pre-orders are promising. Nokia needs better marketing. They make a big push at the retailers, but the ads are horrible. Good products get no attention because of poor ad campaigns. Bad stuff can even sell because of great ads.
Hmmm ... a scumball that makes videos of drunken young girls taking off their tops, or a billionaire that made half the of Vegas strip? Whom would you believe?
Difference is RIM is not executing. They are in denial and not taking the drastic steps for a turn-around.
I'll believe it when other numbers corroborate like the number of people on food stamps and on "disability" decrease. I don't think the Pres would fudge the numbers, but wouldn't put it over his fanatical, lib followers that are in denial that the economy is stagnating due to policy more than any other factor.
They're ads aren't memorable, not even funny when they're intended to be. If their ads don't make someone run out to get a Nokia, they should at least give people a favorable impression when looking at phones in the store. Are those Kia hamsters busy?
Ryan stayed composed and didn't stoop to Biden's level. Remember, Biden is next in line for the Presidency - scary thought, huh?
All Joe can do is laugh nervously when under pressure. He disgraced the President.
Biden is a clown. We have a clown for VP - reason enough to not vote for that ticket.
I don't know how Biden's performance can be claimed a victory. Basically said Iran is not a threat - pretty much undermines the sanctions and the governments that support it.
Government is the automatic answer. Government has to provide jobs, government has to take care of the people that don't want to work, government has to take care of the kids of people that don't want to work, government has to take care of the loans students can't pay back, government has to save the auto industry, government has to subsidize green cars and green industries, government has to ban the sale of sugary drinks ... Americans have lost their independence to their own government and fecklessness.
Back to 26, but some are piling in for the dividend and relative stable share price.
6 months is a long way out. Specs not even known. There's a good market for older devices, so buying now and upgrading later is a viable option. Don't worry.
Ex-div date is 11/7. Shorts will cover in the next few days. Others will go long to capture the div.
Standing in line at the store is just a stunt. Can't compare to number of orders online. Remember ex-div is coming 11/7. Big pop or drop for the market after the election.
Numbers will probably be lackluster to disappointing. What will matter are comments about the future.
