anovicetrader, on this board we don't use words like "soon" because it is so ambiguous. We prefer ITNTDF (in the not to distant future) because is leaves no doubt as to the precise time frame.

  • I have owned RCPI for a long time. I used the product and posted some of the very positive results I had here a long time ago. Yesterday, RCPI closed at $0.11 and today it opened @ $2.79. The close today was @ $ 3.29 up $0.50 (17.92%) Not sure what made the buyers climb aboard.

Just thought I would post this for those that have never seen a reverse split FWIW.

speeddog23, You asked, " What are the circumstances in Hawaii?"

Because Maui is so small, I am new here and don't know anyone, my goal was to get a primary doctor and take references to other providers as needed. My primary suggested this Urologist and he is in high demand. Therefore, I will wait so all doctors work well together and share an interest in my needs. The other day, I had an appointment with my primary doctor and while we were talking, the cardiologist she recommended came in the same room so we could discuss a plan to address some issues. He has changed some of my meds and got me off one I really wanted to get off. They also recommended another doctor that I will see on Monday. I want a good strong team and it seams to be coming together. My issue is not major just a little tricky trying to find out exactly what is going on. Just a matter of ruling out one thing after another and finding a good balance of the right meds. There are only 2 hospitals on Maui BTW.

Oh, so far of subject******Warning****** OT ****** OT***** OT*****Not for bashers**** OT
kenny94587, Yep, I too was lead to the ONCY MB by forces that had my best interest at heart. It was late in 2003 and after doing my DD and learning more about cancer than I though I would ever know, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. The knowledge I had gained from my brief education on cancer kept me from going into shock when the doctor told me I had cancer. I said, okay what's next? That was over 12 years ago and while it wasn't exactly easy to deal with and I still have to have annual exams with my good friend the cystoscope, it is proof you CAN beat cancer when caught early enough.

One kind of bad thing here is, while I called to get an appointment with an Urologist back in early Jan., my appointment isn't until the 26th of this month. (I do call Maui a developing 3rd world country......because it is.) I email family and friends photos to prove it. But I call this land my home and love it.

I do find it amazing that almost everyday we are getting more outstanding news about all the different directions Reolysin is going. I believe we have rounded the last turn on the track and we are headed for the finish line. Against all odd, we should hit the trifecta: waving my pompoms with great enthusiasm.

Parts taken from the V2 board and some of my own personal thoughts.

The European Medicines Agency had Reolysin on their list in February. It was listed as the following:
Human reovirus type 3 Dearing strain for treatment of ovarian cancer, Oncolytics Biotech (UK) Limited • Humanized.

Looks like a designation, still requiring an approval before marketing. First glance it looks like the marketing approval is streamlined.

Also: Dr. Thompson is talking with the FDA about this program. Keep in mind how MANY phase II studies we have completed and how much we now know about TARGET mutations.

Now, medical facilities like Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where Mrs. Hurwitz is a patient, are starting coordinated efforts to find answers. And this spring, a federally funded national program will start to screen tumors in thousands of patients to see which might be attacked by any of at least a dozen new drugs. Those whose tumors have mutations that can be attacked will be given the drugs.

The studies of this new method, called basket studies because they lump together different kinds of cancer, are revolutionary, much smaller than the usual studies, and without control groups of patients who for comparison’s sake receive standard treatment.

Researchers and drug companies asked the Food and Drug Administration for its opinion, realizing that if the F.D.A. did not accept the studies, no drugs would ever be approved on the basis of them. But the F.D.A. said it sanctioned them and could approve drugs with basket study data alone.

Instead of insisting on traditional studies, said Dr. Richard Pazdur, who directs the F.D.A. office that approves new cancer drugs, the agency will look at the data and ask, “Is the American population going to be better off with this drug than without it?”

Is there a possibility that Reolysin might get approval because the American population is going to be better off with this drug than without it?

armedescapade, no family here. Two of my sister-in-laws sisters live here but I have only met one so far. But about the nude beach thing, I go to beaches were mostly locals go, they are away from hotels and no amenities covenant for the tourist. Every once in a while, while I am lounging in the shade, watching the waves roll in and just spacing out, young ladies will fluoric through the sand without their tops and hit the waves. Kind of like one of the topless shows in Vegas only better and free. :)

I'm really glad I had my cataracts done last year or I wouldn't been able to tell if they were boys or girls. Nothing better than 20/20 vision on the beach.

ebjm2004, I have a very effective way to weed out the trolls on this board and I have used it a lot lately, especially today and over the past few days, it is called the ignore feature. Really works well and you can get down to the posters that are the real deal. Takes a long time but does pay off. I have make a lot of profit from posters that proved over time to be forthright and honest.

One example was KERX, a poster that does not post here any more, mentioned it a few times. I did a little DD, got in under $5 and sold in the $17 range. Talk about a stock that is played in a big way everyday, look at that chart!
