Cheney went to the CIA and told them what the intelligence report should say and George Tenet provided just that by providing reports verifying WMD presence in Iraq.
Bush sent our forces to war to overthrow Saddam based on those false reports.
On December 14, 2004, President George W. Bush awarded Tenet the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Now what do we have?
Second question: Who are the analysts?
Maybe they are working for the shorts by always putting up ridiculous estimates so CALM will miss?
Maybe analysts count the chickens before they hatched and count the hens before they hatched?
Maybe they are investors who buy both puts and calls as hedges against each other creating a winning collar? This could be used as an advantage to longs because it increases the price of calls.
Many times shorts also buy calls as a hedge against their short position except on CALM that is a very expensive hedge leaving an opportunity for longs on high call premiums.
No matter who the analysts are, they are almost never correct.
As to your last question, since analysts seem to be using creative accounting, investors are better served computing the estimates themselves.
CALM is an excellent case for understanding why it is that upgrades are 80% wrong and downgrades are 80% wrong.
I forgot more of what I know about chickens than 99% of the world will ever learn.
I know when feed ingredient prices drop, in this case on cost of corn, soybeans, fish meal, wheat and calcium, the cost of production drops more because the cost of feed is the most important factor. Crop forecasts are looking very pretty right now.
I also know chicken and eggs are the lowest cost sources of protein with eggs being the near perfect match for human essential amino acid requirements.
Founded in 1969, 46 years ago and still losing money.
ERJ should be making huge profits with input materials now about 50% of what they were just 2 years ago.
The money might be going into some drain pipes leading to bank accounts.
Buybacks are actually quite dumbo. Buybacks shuffle money around on the balance sheet, taking cash to increase EPS and leaving less for growth. Nothing more than musical chairs.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Zacks ratings are computer generated based on stock price data and data stored from quarterly reports.
Is there a specific period after which a stock must be unlisted?
Aldi Stores grocery prices are about 40% lower than Walmart and Aldi fresh fruits, vegs, meats are much higher quality than Sam's Club.
Macy's clothing prices are lower than Walmart and much higher quality.
General merchandise is being eaten alive by numerous competitors, including dollar stores for the smaller items.
Automotive prices at Walmart are competitive with decent prices but their mechanics work is a nightmare.
Electronic prices are the same or lower elsewhere. Amazon is eating their lunch.
Housewares & Cookwares are about the same as competition.
Message: Walmart is no longer the bargain destination for anything.
Trump has several sons and daughters who can go to fight there.
Will you go if his children go in front of you?
Doesn't the threshold list have stocks that cannot be shorted further?
There is no limit on any list that prevents shorts from covering their short positions.
Their technology is certainly excellent all the way from legacy to advanced mobile.
1. Copycat variations all over the place with at least 10 competitors. Became a commodity.
2. Company itself messing with customer relations by requiring new types of pods.
3. Fad is going away.
4. Its rescue line soda pop is rapidly declining with consumption of Coca-Cola plummeting and copycats already making clones.
The catalysts for reversal are missing. I could find none.
Watching with interest to see how many more clones show up.
The calculator that comes with windows-10 does not allow copy and /or paste.
For anyone who uses a calculator frequently for testing or using formulas with multiple numbers or calculations, the windows-10 calculator is useless.
Question: Is there a version of calculator that works under windows 10 that allows copying results from the calculator and copying formulas into the calculator such as:
Multiple number calculation pasted into old calculator prior to windows 10:
pasted into calculator: 49999 + 10984 + 18718 + 46177 = 125878
pasted into calculator: (( -32874 / 795313) * 100) = ????????
Such formulas are very useful for quick calculations that don't require opening a spreadsheet.
If you do frequently use the calculator in prior versions of windows, the new one does not work.
I read 31 percent of MJN sales are in China.
If this is correct, MJN may have more problems than thus far recognized considering new currency exchange rate pressures (and greater determination on the part of China to reduce dependency on non Chinese sources.
"Mead Johnson Nutrition CO (NYSE: MJN) (31 percent of sales from China) lowered its 2015 guidance in July due to competitive pricing pressures in China."
