even if its a decade, you are toast
keep saying to yourself life will be back to normal in 3 years...thats just the beginning
fly into cordova and you will get a reality dose
in RE terms its a virtual zero. salmon almost came back at cordova alaska. herrings never did. shrimp finally this season. 20plus years and oil sheen is still there. good bye beaches. i say if you own beachfront property in panhandle you have to get a lawyer to sue BP or buy feinberg a nice non seafood dinner.
CA real estate is going down for other reasons.
there are plenty of reasons to live in florida. like no state income tax...no estate tax...among others
in CA you work for the idiot state and federal govt and your home will continue to decline in value....clean beach or no clean beach
monkey brain, i love your bravado (aka stupidity). no one will be fooled. sry about your panhandle investments.
maybe your grandkids will make money but not you. if they dont die young after you let them swim in the panhandle beaches.
enjoy....take a mouthful
have your grandkids swim in the water...
go talk to the people living with the valdez spill.
dude its obvious you have never gone to galveston TX or south padre TX...LOL
you think the sand color in galveston was because of oil. also prior to the oil spill the beach front condos were trading over 100 per sf now you can buy them at 50-60 per sf.
South Padre Island is nothing like Galveston. the sand color is not the same ... the water color is not the same. Right now its problem the last remaining natural fishery that will be relatively undamage around the US gulf coast.
just like back when RE was tanking, the people long on panhandle RE is ramping up the BS again.
believe it or not, the panhandle RE would have continued the decline anyway had the oil spill not occurred. it was way cheaper to rent than to buy.
hell dont forget to jump in to the water with your bath soap and scrub. invite your kids and grand kids too.
its natural dont worry about swallowing a few mouthful. its like vitamin water.
who gives a crap about living in stupidville SB and California.
its the home of the dumbest RE investors in the US plus a state where they cant even manage their own finances
have a good time paying the state taxes.
in FL we keep our money.
BP oil spill gives them an deep pocketed entity to sue for the decline in overpriced real estate. now anything down from here you can sue. BP just gave the idiots who bought a put on their properties.
silver lining to everything. If you win, you can move back to tennesse or where ever hillbillies live in the US.
time to hire a lawyer and pray.
mkt is going to die for five years at least.
even if you are a catch n release fisherman there will be no fish for awhile
and who is going to the beach. you can pick up all the tar balls you want, the microscopic hydrocarbons are going to kill you.
