This is a unique company which requires different techniques of valuation from your typical business. Saying that it is worth 10x what it was five years ago doesn't mean it has gotten ahead of itself. That assertion fails to take into account the value of the owned/shared IP acquired in the interim which they have proven themselves **highly capable** of monetizing.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
The company warns repeatedly that earnings will be volatile. But one quarter of weaker earnings doesn't mean that the trend is down. It's not like a shoe company, whose brands are on the decline. It is an IP company and earnings need to be averaged over longer than one quarter. Friday's reaction simply means that people have no understanding of this company. It is partly momo traders amplifying the move, which is a tendency of WS these days and partly a bunch of morons who just don't understand the business. Perhaps it shouldn't be publicly traded just because people are trigger-happy, short-sighted mental invalids.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Seriously? What don't you like about earnings? They missed by $0.03 - no big deal. Earnings are always spotty with Acacia. It's not as if they're in decline or something. Any dips should be viewed as buying opportunities in my opinion.
Sentiment: Buy
If I ignore you, you don't exist either.
Lesson of the day for the nuisance.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Yeah, on the contrary there is a continuous stream of positive news. 36% increase in production is great news. Can't control the price of silver but can still grow the business and improve profits. But there is a bunch of negative sentiment surrounding this stock. Surely it is being picked on for whatever reason. SWC is up 6% today but AG managed to end up down 2.5%.
I'm not a silly silver hugger or whatever those jack holes floating around here are saying. This is a tremendous value at this level and I agree with electrowing that I'm not planning to sell until at least $20.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
AG is a growth story as much as a miner. No matter what the product, if they're growing by 30%, that's something that deserves a little respect from the Street.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
After announcing a new record?? What's next??
Sentiment: Strong Buy
It seems that considerations of supply and demand are only important when impel to the downside. Record demand certainly hasn't been a factor to the upside but, evidently, the rumor of Cypress' supply has been a factor to the downside. The irony of the situation highlights the strategic campaign used by TPTB to bring the PM market to its knees. Maybe it will just roll over but I'm positioned for a bounce.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
And guess what he's buying with the proceeds? Silver miners. Yes, and, in particular, this one - First Majestic.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
There is no need for collusion. Miners are in the business to make a profit. If silver prices drop below the cost of production, then they will start to reduce production, depending on their forward obligations and hedging strategy. Or, they may continue to mine but keep the silver in reserve until prices come back. Either way, there will be a reduction in supply which will eventually bring prices back up, assuming supply and demand are still viable forces in the silver market. ;-)
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Of all the silver miners to short, I would pick FM last because it has the lowest production cost of all and would be the last one standing if silver went to $22, which I seriously, seriously doubt will happen.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
what articles? and why AG?
Sentiment: Strong Buy
that looks like right about now to me :)
Sentiment: Strong Buy
It's an earnings report, goof ball, not a product announcement. They do those at tech conferences. They will announce profits that easily beat expectations, a dividend increase, a stock buyback and the market will love AAPL again. Seriously, I wouldn't want to be short going into earnings.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Shut your pie hole you ignorant pile of steaming manure.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Volume by price shows negligible volume up to 450. If it can break out above 438, it should sail to 450 without any significant resistance. 15 min time frame shows accumulation is taking place during this consolidation. The daily chart is giving a nice buy signal on MACD cross and Full Stochastic. That, plus the double bottom looks like a bullish setup to me with a probably move to 450 in the next couple of days.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
You show a distinct lack of imagination. Nothing could improve on the Apple II, the Lisa, the Macintosh, the iMac, iTunes, iPods, iPhones . . . at every step of the way, naysayers have said, "that's it, they're done." Lol, just because YOU can't imagine anything doesn't mean there isn't the most amazing idea about to be sprung on an unsuspecting world, to create something that you can't imagine how you ever lived without. Just buy AAPL and be happy.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
You were out yesterday and the day before that and last week too. You've got serious issues, dude.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Investors haven't filed a single lawsuit and absolutely nothing will come of all those ambulance-chasing lawyers hoping to get a slice of some class action lawsuit action. They won't get a single penny because they'll never find a single lead Plaintiff. I've seen it dozens of times - watch and learn!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I'm not a silver hugger and I'm not silly and I don't give a flying rat's rounded bottom what you do, you pompous twit.
