not to mention, this is what nearly all companies in the age of SarbOx when you can be sued or even jailed for making overly optimistic forecasts.
American Airlines Group (NASDAQ:AAL) was downgraded by equities research analysts at Cowen and Company from an “outperform” rating to a “market perform” rating in a research note issued to investors on Tuesday. They currently have a $66.00 target price on the stock, up from their previous target price of $55.00. Cowen and Company’s price target indicates a potential upside of 28.63% from the stock’s previous close.
Every report I read said the price target was raised to $66. So it was a buy yesterday with upside to $55 and it's a hold today with upside to $66, brilliant.
Oil/LNCO up, more importantly, a recent outbreak of meningitis at Yale has been traced to a diner at Sally's Apizza
first we get hit by oil prices, now it would appear we are getting hit by this blip in the 10 year still trading below 2%. Mindless algorithms at work.
Sally's uses a coal fired oven. How many carbon units are you spewing into the atmosphere by eating that pizza not to mention the methane you'll spew in the aftermath? I assume you're getting there on a solar powered bus which was manufactured at a solar powered plant using materials that were mined using equipment running on dilithium crystals.
Dicker scared me out of my BP pretty much at the bottom when he said it was going to zero. For a so called energy expert, he has been consistently wrong. His book is called "Oil's Endless Bid". Looks like the Bid disappeared the past six months.
Agree about this ridiculous post about advance warning, wish I had tomorrow's news today. Lots of panic here by people that know better than management and apparently nobody has ever heard of arbitrage. Never mind that shares were lower than this a couple of weeks ago.
I think it's getting dragged down by the transport ETF which can't diferentiate between an airline and UPS
I'd have to say the US trading is being heavily influenced by the Kass article as it now trading down twice as much as where London shares closed.
Now he's selling some, brilliant. Some more of his blow ups over the past month, BONT, ASPS, OCN. It's hard to pick that many disasters.
