  • Why would Barron's on more than one occasion feature the babbling of Little Kevin Kaiser of minor-league subscription tweet farm "Hedgeye?"

Well, Little Kevin graduated PRINCETON in 2010 and the recent Barron's pan of KMP was written by associate editor Andrew Bary, PRINCETON '83. This may sound like a stretch for a connection, but lifetime membership in the Old Boys Network is a major benefit of an Ivy background.

Possibly Barron's should be investigating its internal editorial selection process, especially regarding KMP.

  • Rather than addressing any issues involving Kinder Morgan rehashed in Barron's, I'll toss a bit of argumentum ad hominem at Little Kevin Kaiser.

Little Kevin went to St. Paul's School and then Princeton. Did he get in and graduate both because of family money, legacy status, affirmative action, or is he smart?

Here's a few thoughts that might rule out being smart:

    - Lore has it that Little Kevin went to Princeton because he thought that was the road to pro hockey. Princeton hockey to something on the pro level? Was he thinking of becoming a beer vendor at Bruins games?

    - Little Kevin made the Tigers, but had to give up hopes of hockey glory because of a concussion. If a concussion is serious enough to end hockey dreams, it could well be serious enough to affect cognitive functions.

    - When he graduated Princeton in 2010, he didn't have a job and didn't attend any grad school. St. Paul' grad school? Even French Lit and Women's Studies majors get job or grant offers with St. Paul's/Princeton on the c.v.

Little Kevin Kaiser is a wonderfully mediocre writer and has the potential to be the most successful mindless self-promoting windbag to come out of the Ivy League since Jim Cramer.

Like Cramer, no one should take him seriously, just enjoy the entertainment.
