    Enough of collaboration

choco my friend you need to have patience. I understand your frustration but the building blocks are being put in place and you are going to make some real cash IMO. To me it looks like the buyers are being very patient and getting as much cheap stock as they can in the dog days of summer. IMO.

Bad market, no news and low volume. As long as the fundamentals have not changed this is noise albeit annoying noise.

    Slugboy you are on fire.

Everyone knows or should know this is a second half of 2014 story. McCubbin said on the last CC that the 2Q would be up 20-25% because of timing issues of revenue recognition for 1Q. Add a little bit from the BPA’s and maybe we see $15 million in revenue but more likely $14+ million.

WYY share price does this when there is a news void and volume dries up. IMO momentum traders and short term holders are bailing on the stock which is causing it to drop.

As someone stated before if the fundamental story is intact then this is just noise.

  • The volume the last 7 days when the SP has dropped 13.74% has been 43% of the YTD average daily volume. Last seven days has been 355,000 shares per day and YTD average was 812,100.

Using Volume To Predict Price Movement

In general, a price change on relatively low volume for a particular stock suggests an aberration, whereas a price change on high volume portends a genuine trend reversal.

One of the best times to buy is when a stock is going down on low volume (with no news) as compared to recent increases on higher volume.

How To Use Volume To Improve Your Trading
    By Cory Mitchell

The basic theory is this: if price and volume are moving in the same direction, the trend of the stock price will continue. If they are running counter to each other, the trend will reverse.

    Basic Guidelines for Using Volume
When analyzing volume, there are guidelines we can use to determine the strength or weakness of a move. As traders, we are more inclined to join strong moves and take no part in moves that show weakness - or we may even watch for an entry in the opposite direction of a weak move. These guidelines do not hold true in all situations, but they are a good general aid in trading decisions.

    Volume and Market Interest
A rising market should see rising volume. Buyers require increasing numbers and increasing enthusiasm in order to keep pushing prices higher. Increasing price and decreasing volume show lack of interest and this is a warning of a potential reversal. This can be hard to wrap your mind around, but the simple fact is that a price drop (or rise) on little volume is not a strong signal. A price drop (or rise) on large volume is a stronger signal that something in the stock has fundamentally changed.

ilove good luck to you and it is understandable given what has happened since 2010. You where one of the good posters who tried to be additive.

There will be a lot of profit taking given where the stock traded but I am holding tight.

I am holding every share until either the story starts to change for the worse or the company gets taken out.

ggrail. I looked at the holdings list for the ETF and it is very hard to determine how many shares of WYY need to be purchased for the ETF because I can’t find a formula but from other holdings in the ETF with similar market caps and in the technology industry it looks like 100,000 shares need to be purchased but no date was given for inclusion.

The different microcap mutual funds should also add to the demand for WYY shares but they have their own schedule.

Anyone else who has info on the Russell Index please add to the conversation.

  • The stock is down half of what it was up yesterday and the ground crawlers reappear talking about the company putting out puff pieces and one idiot keeps using mice as characters in his narrative that drones on and on. Mice man must have had a fantasy about the 1971movie Willard and never got over it.

Tripping over nickels when dollars are to be had. BTW your calculation is wrong and you forgot to mention the taxes you will have to pay on short-term capital gains. To each his/her own.

Who knows why and who cares, maybe someone died and their estate is being settled, maybe a portfolio has switched managers, maybe someone bought at $1.00 and they are sending their kid to college. Get a little bit longer view then the current bid/ask.

    In the mean time

choco I started small on 1/15/08 at $1.48 thinking I like the space etc. then the crisis took hold so I had much bigger problems but keep listening to the quarterly conference calls and revenue was growing and they were breaking even so I bought on 12/18/08 at $0.202 thinking I had bought the bottom when a west coast mutual fund company sold their 10% holding during tax selling time and the crisis was picking up steam. I liked what McCubbin was saying so I bought some more on 3/4/11 at $1.46 (all prices have commission included) which was a top tick because Washington DC froze and this little government contractor was a baby that went out with the bathwater.

But I kept listening and had spoken to McCubbin numerous times at this point and met him late in 2012. The market really punished WYY in late 2012 with tax selling and investors giving up on companies tethered to the federal government. So as the tax selling went on I added almost half my current position on and around 12/21/12 at $0.33. I own 700k and my cost basis is $1.01.

My point albeit a long one is that hindsight is 20/20 and yes it would have been better to have waited but because I invested in WYY I paid very close attention which only comes from owning a stock and that was how I caught the two bottoms of the share price but as I said I also top ticked it too.

This is going to be a very big winner and yes it has been a long road but it will be a very sweat time-weighted rate of return.

choco take a breath and relax. WYY is a micro-cap that has not acted to your ideal scenario which is to say it has not doubled since or because you bought it. I have been around a long time and own a lot more then you do and this is how this micro-cap acts.

As long as the foundation is being built brick by brick or new contract by new contract we are all going to make lots of money.

Your impatience and ceaseless droning is not going to make the SP go up, just time and execution will make it go much higher. So if the company had done something material that you didn't like I would understand your droning on but the management is doing exactly what they said they were going to do which was get contracts and start ramping revenue that will start showing up in 3Q and 4Q and all of 2015.

    Thoughts on Q2 earnings?

ggrail I felt the same impatience when the sp was around $0.50 - $0.70 last year and at other times. It is natural to feel the impatience because we know the story and the potential but the sp does not reflect that potential. This too will pass as it has in the past because it is just a matter of time before the revenue starts to ramp and with the leverage in the business model WYY will start showing profits.

But I do believe that the high SG&A will keep the profits low till 2015 because McCubbin wants to grow the topline knowing the M&A activity is about strategic buyer who can wrestle synergies out of the WYY revenue which will be accretive to a buyer immediately.

Also IMO McCubbin knows the strategic buyer wants WYY to do the work of getting all the contracts and revenue streams online before buying WYY.

Race just go away please you have not gotten anything right. NASDAQ website says 6/10/14 dissemination date for 5/30/14 SI but nothing there yet. Short Squeeze website says a/o 5/30/14 the SI was 3,187,600 which is up 33,700.

  • What a joke. They first went to a Strong Sell at $1.12 on Nov. 29, 2013 and have reiterated their rating 6 times, now just a sell. Nice job being wrong for a (-45%) return.
