At a quick glance it appears NetApp has the flash array 'disk' space covered. Why did they buy a company that their business already overlaps. Do they buy their flash array's from SolidFire? Do not understand the purpose of this acquisition.
They will follow each other with slowing growth. There is no need to upgrade a PC that does everything you want, there is no need to upgrade a tablet that does everything you want, and there is no need to upgrade your phone that does everything you want. So slowing sales is a given in all these areas. The question becomes where is the growth? Watches?? too small of interface, therefore it will be a small market. Fit devices, got that on my phone. Microsoft surface is trying to bridge PC and tablet so there will be some growth their but it will only cannibalize tablets and laptops. One more Christmas push and then Apple will head down as its growth is unsustainable.
