"The Las Vegas Strip is the most visited tourist attraction in the world, beating New York City’s Times Square and Paris’ Eiffel Tower."
You have to go to France to see the Eiffel Tower, and who wants to go to France?
Also, New York practically taxes the air you breath, so one might as well go to Las Vegas and see the excellent reproductions of the Eiffel Tower and New York landmarks, and get all those other sights thrown in for free*!!!!! (desert aquariums, neon graveyard, race car memorabilia, lavish production shows, etc, etc, etc.)
*Admission charges may apply. Free in the sense that you've already paid for the travel expense to get there.
* Gee, Yahoo doesn't like the acronym for the Nationalist Socialist Party in Germany back in the early 1900's. Sorry Yahoo, in the future, I'll try to refrain from inadvertently posting it.
Say Yahoo, you got an app we can use to check for your sites verboten words? It'd be a lot more useful than your daily updated animated GIFs!
"This war thing with the Soviet is a joke ..."
Oh yeah, we're still laughing about that #$%$ thing a few years back.....
War is never a laughing matter. Some stocks will be hit more than others. Some may actually benefit (like gold/fuel stocks/commodities). But Letterman's, Fallon's, or Kimmel's ratings won't go up because a war started. War is serious, like investing usually is.
Actually, my post should have had a "question mark", i.e. (?) on it, as I needed more info to figure out what you were alluding to. It's just the way Yahoo is: go after/fix/change things which a minority complain about, and thereby screw up the flow for everyone else. Yahoo wants us to complain to them when someone abuses the boards for say SPAMMING, yet Yahoo never DELETES the offenders ID's. Yahoo is too busy updating their daily animated logo.
Next time, try the politically correct approved version "Richard Cranium".
You realize of course, that merriam-webster has a website where one can check on spelling. (Just open up a 2nd browser window.) And using proper sentence structure is never a hindrance when making a VALID point. Or are you attempting to channel Yoda? If so, you're failing miserably.
"It would take me day's to enunciate the incompetence of this President ."
Let me help shorten your task. Obama is a lying b-sterd.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Actually Riff, your unending spamming/phishing seems downright monotonous, and to me personally, just plain annoying, no matter which Yahoo_ID you use.
when you reply to yourself with your multiple Yahoo_ID's, it just makes you look like a total bag of douches. Put your efforts into attending an accredited institution of higher learning, whether it be college, trade school, or public service. And spamming/phishing/hacking/burglarizing/embezzling/etc. are NOT accredited careers.
Since you brought up the subject, you must be an expert on male dolls. Why don't you trot on over to the message boards where they're discussed, and give them the benefit of your "hot air"*.
Just think, if we could invest in diligent drivel, we'd all be trillionaires, thanks to stockho.
Actually, he's a spammer/phisher, either Riff P. Raff, or someone who went thru his correspondence college of criminality. He posts the same B.S. under almost ALL of Yahoo's financial message boards, but don't worry, Yahoo's busy updating their animated logo every day, which is MUCH better than stopping fraud on their message boards, right? (My eyes are rolling like a slot machine right now......)
Short answer: "Thin air."
Longer, few-details answer is "Verizon is basing the issuance of the shares on their acquisition of Vodafone. If NO new shares issued, theoretically the existing shares would be worth more, since the new company would be larger. So VZ is sort of replacing existing VOD shares with VZ shares. As for the comparison of existing value with after acquisition value, I don't have all details/figures in front of me in order to say whether it will be price neutral in the short run.
Anyone would have a better chance of coming out ahead financially with a Nigerian email scammer, than ANY websites recommended by posters such as you.
