    Here's the pad its finishing.

I'm convinced you don't know how to interpret well file data, pull the scout ticket info, map the pad on GIS and really don't have a clue about oil. So you might benefit from keeping your feet out of your mouth.

Can you read and interpret at the same time with the reference?
You just put your second foot in your moth at the same time. The fact that any Chesapeake wells reported calls you out as a loser.

Seeking answers to oil stock price questions,

    by mofisher22 Feb 22, 2015 11:18 AM

Pretty much got it down. Hedging stabilizes about 75% of this companies oil and gas as they reported their BOE/D estimate as 46,000 for the last 3 months of the year. Need to consider leaseholds as some wells must be drilled in order to HBP (Held By Production) or the land owners will go elsewhere. So HRC operating obligated 2 rigs to a lessor oil valued field and those rigs just completed in Williston county North Dakota. One rig was pulled and the other went back to the McGregory Buttes field. One other issue is they drill pad wells now and some take 5-6 months to complete as they have 6 wells to drill. So let me use an example in the TMS in Mississippi Halcon operating has 29 new permits on 16 pad locations so they need two rigs for now but could cut back later in the year. So HK announced a 40,000 - 45,000 BOE/D guidance which is a reduction and the price dropped only a little. Here are the 29 new permits in the TMS.

    January 31, 2011 - By EnerCom
"In September 2010, Samson Oil & Gas Ltd (NYSE: SSN, ASX: SSN) sold approximately 24,166 acres to Chesapeake in Goshen County, Wyoming, located in the northern part of the DJ Basin that is prospective for the Niobrara oil shale. That transaction valued the undeveloped acreage at $3,275 per acre, which at the time was the highest paid for acreage in the emerging play. That deal put approximately $74 million of cash on Samson's balance sheet. Importantly, Samson retained an overriding royalty interest (ORRI) of 3.8% in the acreage sold the Chesapeake. In our report "Getting Up to Speed" on December 29, 2010, we valued Samson's ORRI at approximately $48.1 million, based on certain assumptions. With the capital from CNOOC and the companies' aggressive development plan, it appears that the likelihood of Samson receiving royalty checks from the ORRI has improved."
Chesapeake drilled 5 wells and 4 producing wells in this category

    First SSN got $76M
Samson is one of the early pioneers in the Niobrara Oil Shale play in the DJ Basin. For reference, in September 2010, Samson closed on the sale of 24,166 acres of its leasehold prospective for the Niobrara in Goshen County, Wyoming to Chesapeake Energy Corporation (ticker: CHK) at the price of $3,150 per acre. In that sale, Samson sold approximately two-thirds of its acreage in the DJ Basin, but retained approximately 16,500 net acres in the play.
Next CHK didn't find a good spot so Zero times anything is still zero no matter how many wells they drilled.
SSN has the sweet spots in the Niobrara.
Though almost 5 years later and a lot of misses and salt; they have it figured out after a Bluff drilling program and three partners.
Just like the Zavanna folks you hated if you get into the SSN family here you'll be grateful.

Always nice to have a second opinion and a watch dog on the stock board. So I still appreciate the input from posters even Goldie. Hope he gets his son through college so that the family can figure out that from Samson Oil post last night and the SF conference slides; the information I just posted was right in front of his eyes.
