A good Hatch chili pepper about now was just published by that nice young lady from Bloomberg (Asjylyn Loder) who stuck her neck out in front of Floyd. Not a good thing. Floyd has a first class operating crew in every oil play, he has built and sold several multy million dollars companies and a multi billion dollar company. He has all the tools, oil plays, and sweet spots. It doesn't get any better, but in this business you have to prove each play and that means drilling in known average spots to hold production and prove reserves. A few formalities along the way and one is a Bloomberg analyst who looks to right but there is no doubt in my mind that the pretty little neck sticky out will be run over by the bus to town. The same bus that Floyd is driving to carry his cash to pay off all the worker-bees, loan debts, and my retirement. THX Floyd.

To get the TMS entire position de-risked you need greater than 50% of leaseholds HBP (Held By Production), offset results by other operators, and many operators in the play with successful wells that pay for themselves in a year. HK well costs have been $13M versus $7.2-7.8 in the Bakken/Three Forks.Infrastructure (hold areas, storage, transport, processing plants) hasn’t happened and you have zero wells that have paid for themselves. So don’t ask the question if you can’t stand the answer.

Maybe never in this play, but Halcon would be the first as they have $400M backing from Appolo so there is a lot to gain. Floyd just de-risked El Halcon so that was with all those other drillers in Texas helping in the prove-out. Not as many drillers in this play so a long time from now (3+ years).

Another wipe out? I have no confirmation. Are all the FRAC cells clear?

    20-30% growth for 2015

    by tucker3210 Sep 3, 2014 5:48 PM
    zoom_bee zoom_bee Sep 3, 2014 7:48 PM Flag

Tucker don't invest in any more oil stocks. HK said 53 wells with 3 rigs in the Bakken.
As they stated 23 wells in the 2nd half of 14 with 3 rigs * 2 equals 46 per year plus 135-140 participation wells (non-operating) at 5% which equates to 7 more or a total of 53 wells.
    Slide 7
    2H14 Outlook
̶Expect to spud ~23 gross operated wells with 3 rigs
̶Expect to participate in ~135-140 gross non-op wells (Avg. WI ~5%)

TB didn't specify that Billabong was on the TOFTE 1 pad where a FRAC would be performed.
Sail & Anchor and Blackdog are over on that pad.
Hah! Extra strong as Billabong is a good well and a 5 day wait is worth it all.

That's Tuesday at midnight MDT; so the weekly Op Advisory will probably be delayed. He'll be over there two weeks as a RIU good oil brief will occur the week after next on Monday, September 8th at 2:10 AM MDT (USA) which is equivalent to September 9th at 4:10 PM AWST (AUS). The stock ought to be tripled while he is over in Aussyland as it is a real big deal.

Williams county are being drilled to hold production and permits. Wells are below curve.
Texas is way down as Woodbine was sold. Only 50 reports now. Texas production down.
TMS in Halcon have shortened laterals due to FRACS missing. Coiled tubing couldn't release plugs.
