Tesla, rocketing higher on high volume. How can there be so many clueless investors when we are going to see quadruple volume? Funny.
Notice HCLP also took a big hit today after reporting a very good quarter. These investors are only reacting to price of oil, and fear that fracking will become uneconomic
I don't know what moves these sand stocks any more. Today, crude dropped significantly at the open, and Slca opened down but then started to recover, EVEN though crude was not recovering. What gives??
You know all the analysts had just finished upgrading these fracking sand stocks, in early Sept, when the oil sell-off began. So how much can you believe them.
We're looking better today, with Slca up $3 +. Now that's what should have happened yesterday but like someone else said, shorts were doing Custer's last stand!
Beat on earnings, guide higher: who the heck is the selling and why? Yesterdday the other frac sand stocks did not do poorly and theprice of oil went up, so who is selling? Crazy street.
Very scary. I had owned Amazon earlier this year as my risky play -- sold later. But I almost had chosen Flix instead. through some miracle I avoided buying it thank you lord.
Analysts are a worthless crew. They get paid big bucks for basically nothing, basically misleading the public.
That news story says it all and true. Sad but this is just the beginning of the end. Close below 300?
Well, the stocks got a bit ahead of themselves but you are essentially right -- fundamentally no change -- except the price of oil. Oil price is the only real fundamental driver.
I would suggest, it is possible that media can influence stocks. One analyst report followed by one feature article in Barron's TANKED Kinder Morgan stock, remember? And Cramer could have that much influence. He could start the dominos falling and with the fracking sand stocks that is probably all it took to get them to collapse like they did.
