MIAMI BEACH, FL--(Marketwire -03/02/12)- Dedicated wine and culinary enthusiasts, as well as friends and colleagues from the industry, all raised a glass this past weekend to Marchese Piero Antinori and Chef Charlie Trotter at the Loews Miami Beach for an unprecedented celebration. The Tribute Dinner presented by Bank of America, and part of The New York Times dinner series, was part of the 11th Annual Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE.
"It was a true honor to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year's Festival," said Marchese Piero Antinori, whose family has been making wine in Italy for more than 625 years and 26 generations. "The evening was very special for me -- a chance to connect with old and new friends over a delicious dinner prepared by some of the top chefs in America alongside our family's wines."

The evening was emceed by author and host of Travel Channel's No Reservations Anthony Bourdain and included a random act of culture by the Florida Grand Opera. All participating chefs were presented with a personalized gift from Maximilian Riedel and Hublot provided an exquisite timepiece for honoree Charlie Trotter.
