4K resolution televisions are expected to see marginal share of the LCD-TV market through 2017, reports DigiTimes, according to research firm IHS. Worldwide shipments of 4K LCD TVs will rise to 2.1M units in 2017 and will account for 0.8% of the global LCD TV shipments by 2017.
