DENVER, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Air Methods Corporation (Nasdaq: AIRM - News) announced today the appointment of Tom Curtis as the new vice president of its Products Division. Effective immediately, Mr. Curtis assumes responsibility for the Division's engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, and customer service efforts. He reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is based at the company's headquarters in Denver.

Mr. Curtis brings a wealth of aerospace sales, finance, engineering and program management experience to the role, including 20 years experience with GE Aviation and GE Commercial Aviation Services. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
