Alliant Techsystems gets $30.8 million Navy contract for restoration project at ballistics lab

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A division of Alliant Techsystems Inc. received a $30.8 million contract from the Navy to provide services on a restoration project at the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory, the Pentagon said.
Work will be performed in Rocket Center, W. Va., and is expected to be completed by September 2011.
Shares of the Minneapolis-based company fell 67 cents to $77.18 in afternoon trading Thursday.
