WASHINGTON (AP) -- Alliant Techsystems Inc. recently received a $105.8 million contract from the Army to provide ammunition for the government of Afghanistan and U.S. forces, the Pentagon said late Wednesday.
Work will be performed in Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2012.
Shares of the Minneapolis-based company added 10 cents to $77.95 in late morning trading Thursday.
