Allot Communications Announces Appointment of Lior Moyal as Vice-President of Business Development

BOSTON, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allot Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: ALLT - News), a leader in IP service optimization and revenue generation solutions based on deep packet inspection (DPI), today announced that Lior Moyal, a hi-tech veteran with over 17 years experience, has joined Allot Communications as Vice-President of Business Development. Moyal will be responsible for driving the company's global business development strategy including developing partnerships with global system integrators, creating alliances with value added network and subscriber services partners, and recruiting and managing worldwide OEM partners. Moyal is replacing Azi Ronen, who is leaving the company after 10 years to pursue a new venture.

Moyal joins Allot Communications from AudioCodes (Nasdaq: AUDC - News), a leading provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and Voice Network products, where as VP of Business Development, he was responsible for developing and implementing the company's global partnership strategy. Previous positions include AudioCodes' VP of Marketing, VP of Business Development at BridgeWave Communications, and a variety of management positions in Orckit, including VP of Product Management and VP of Business Development. Moyal holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
