BLADE is one of the top providers of 10 Gigabit Ethernet switches, according to Dell'Oro Group's Q209 Ethernet Switch Quarterly Report. BLADE's RackSwitch 1/10G products combine best-in-class hardware design and power consumption with server-specific features, ultra low latency and full interoperability with existing network environments. SGI will integrate BLADE's RackSwitch G8000 1/10G Ethernet switch, RackSwitch G81000 10G low-latency switch and RackSwitch G8124 10G SFP+ switch with its CloudRack(TM) C2 and CloudRack(TM) X2 unified containers for cloud-ready cluster computing. SGI will also resell BLADE's RackSwitch products with its Half Depth and Standard Depth Rack-Mount servers for HPC-class data center computing.
