Romanian mobile phone manufacturer Visual Fan to preload BOLT as default Web browser on its Allview handsets

MARLBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bitstream Inc. (NASDAQ: BITS - News) today announced Visual Fan, Ltd. has licensed distribution rights for BOLT^TM, the company’s web browser for mobile phones of all types. Under this agreement, Visual Fan will preload BOLT as the default browser on its newest Allview branded handsets. Allview, a leading brand of handsets and GPS navigation devices in Romania, currently offers seven models of dual SIM GSM phones.

In addition to BOLT, the device will also offer a preloaded version of the popular Ebuddy instant messaging application, enabling a seamless mobile integration for users of popular chat services including Yahoo, MSN, Facebook, Google Talk, ICQ and AIM.
