SHELTON, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. (NYSE Amex: BLD), a global leader in process automation technology for the printing industry announced today that Chairman Gerald A. Nathe has been named the 49^th Walter E. Soderstrom Award recipient by the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL). Mr. Nathe will receive the award at the Park Hyatt in Chicago at the annual NAPL Soderstrom Society Dinner on Saturday, September 12^th during Print ’09.

Named for the late Walter E. Soderstrom, one of the founders of NAPL, the Soderstrom Society is an honors organization that recognizes the contributions of industry leaders, including printing firm owners, equipment manufacturers, consultants and educators. NAPL is the industry’s association for excellence in the printing and graphic communications industry.

NAPL president and chief executive officer Joseph P.
