MORRISTOWN, NJ--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 17, 2008 -- The Board of Trustees of Bancroft Fund Ltd. (AMEX:BCV - News) declared its one hundred fifty-second quarterly dividend today.

The $0.19 per share dividend is payable from net investment income on December 29, 2008 to shareholders of record November 28, 2008.

Shareholders Meeting Date: The trustees also set February 13, 2009 as the date of the annual shareholders meeting, with a record date of December 19, 2008.
