New Bookstore Debuts on November 4
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS - News), the world’s largest bookseller, will open a new bookstore on November 4 in the Monmouth Mall, at 180 Route 35, Eatontown, New Jersey. Concurrently, the Barnes & Noble in the Consumer Center at 310 State Route 36 in West Long Branch will close. The new store will stock close to 200,000 titles and include a café serving Starbucks coffee. Special features will include a B&N@School section with educational tools for parents, teachers and librarians. The new Barnes & Noble at Monmouth Mall will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. The store will employ approximately 75 people from the community.
The public is invited to a Preview Night Party at the new Barnes & Noble at Monmouth Mall on Tuesday, November 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. A portion of the Preview Night sales will benefit the Eatontown Board of Education. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Local youth groups will give musical performances throughout the evening and Clifford the Big Red Dog will be on hand to meet his fans.
